Living Room and Kitchen:
The living area features a comfortable queen-size sofa bed (160 x 200 cm), perfect for relaxing after skiing or a day out cycling. The open kitchen includes everything you need: fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter and pod coffee machines, raclette grill, kettle, toaster… A Smart TV lets you relax, watch the news, or stream your favorite shows. You’ll also enjoy a small balcony.
Sleeping Area:
In addition to the sofa bed, the apartment has a sleeping corner with four adult-sized bunk beds (French bedding), offering a total capacity of six guests.
Bathroom:
The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and separate toilet. A hairdryer is provided, and towels are included for your comfort.
Other Equipment:
- The apartment is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.
- A washing machine and dryer are available in the communal laundry room, making it easy for you to handle your laundry during your stay.
- On the ground floor, you’ll find everything you need to store your ski equipment.
- We also provide (on request) all the necessary equipment for young children, including a travel cot and a high chair, so that the whole family can feel comfortable.
- Board games are also available to liven up your evenings.
Winter Sports Access:
The apartment is just 3 minutes by car from the Orelle gondola (with parking), connecting you to the 3 Vallées – the largest ski area in the world, with 600 km of slopes and 200 lifts. In less than 20 minutes, you’ll reach the summit of Val Thorens at over 3,200 meters altitude!
Good news: a free shuttle bus now serves the neighborhood!
- Morning departures at 8:23 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. from the stop near the accommodation, heading to the Orelle gondola.
- Return trips at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. from the gondola station.
A great opportunity to enjoy both skiing and après-ski — without needing a car!
The connection to Val Thorens is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm during the winter season.
You’re also near many Maurienne resorts: Valmeinier (20 min), Valloire (30 min), Les Karellis (30 min), Val Cenis (40 min), and more.

Relax in our outdoor space during the summer, where a bright sunroom awaits you. Enjoy the large table to share meals with family or friends, and savor delicious grilled dishes thanks to the barbecue available for your use. Next to the accommodation, a traditional bread oven offers you a unique and friendly culinary experience. Everything is in place for warm and tasty moments in the open air!
Summer Activities: Cycling, Hiking & Nature:
Maurienne is the world’s largest cycling destination, with over 1,600 km of marked routes and legendary Alpine passes like Galibier, Télégraphe, Croix-de-Fer, Iseran, and Madeleine. Orelle is an ideal base for both road and mountain biking.
Nature lovers will enjoy the Vanoise National Park with its trails, lakes, and wildlife. Families will find activities like via ferrata, lakeside swimming, adventure parks, festivals, and local markets.
In summer (July and August), the connection to Val Thorens is open only on Tuesdays, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Outside the winter and summer seasons, the gondola remains closed.
Access:
Easier to reach than Tarentaise resorts during peak travel periods, Orelle is a peaceful mountain village with excellent winter road maintenance. The apartment is just 5 minutes from the motorway exit, and 1h45 from the TGV stations and airports of Lyon and Geneva.
Important Information:
- Bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases) and towels are provided as sets. Beds are not made upon arrival.
- A €500 security deposit is required via Swikly, a secure online platform (no charge or hold on your card).
- Pets are not allowed.
- The apartment is on the 2nd floor and may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility (stairs only).
