I booked this hotel based on the excellent reviews and photos, expecting a comfortable place to stay after a full day at the Nordik Spa. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t match what was advertised.
We arrived around 10 p.m. and there was no staff at the front desk. The phone was ringing with no answer, and we waited about ten minutes before anyone appeared. The sign directing guests to press a button for assistance wasn’t helpful, as the button was hidden behind decorations and didn’t summon anyone when pressed.
Our room for three people with two double beds was extremely disappointing. The décor felt dark and unwelcoming, the furniture was worn, and the room was cramped. The mattresses were the worst part: both beds were heavily caved in, unstable on the sides, and uncomfortable enough that all three of us woke up with sore backs. The pillows were flat, the sheets felt synthetic, and the bed frames were larger than the mattresses, leaving noticeable gaps. We also found pubic hair on the bathroom floor on arrival.
The space didn’t resemble the photos or the positive ratings, and it didn’t match the look of the lobby. We set alarms and left early in the morning because we couldn’t rest properly. No one asked about our stay when we checked out.
This room did not justify the high reviews, and I would not stay here again.
