The Ramada is quite basic but nice rooms, and good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient. It is sited in the Oxford Services so you have ample facilities nearby and a pizza express next door. The hotel does meals but we didn't eat there. There are regular buses at the stop just outside the services into Oxford if you need to go into town.

Awful don’t waste your time or money

Very tired rooms. Worn threadbare carpets and big chunks out of the walls … smelt musty. Opened window but had to shut as people smoking out the window as air con was noisy and smelly. Honestly not worth the cost and why should we be charged £5 to park when it’s a hotel on the motorway services …

Ladies on the desk on arrival and departure were lovely and super helpful. Room is basic, shower head was rusty and room smelled of chlorine so I had to open window and air it out for hours. Could do with being modernised, TV was old and slow and not a smart TV. Bed was comfy enough with decent lighting and plenty of plug sockets

Ramada Oxford

Hotel is based at service station but signposting is not clear showing how to get to it. Messaged hotel prior to arrival for info re disabled access/parking - no reply received and room was on 1st floor (3 lots of stairs) no lift for access. Breakfast was limited and dried out - not as shown on picture displayed ( only fresh fruit was apple or orange) scrambled egg looked black too. However chef cooked fresh portion when I queried eggs. Staff seemed generally unhappy there with the exception of smiley lady receptionist on day2 of our stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy with tea & coffee making facilities supplied. Would choose Premier Inn or Travelodge over Ramada next time

We stay regularly at the hotel. Normally we are quite happy with the facilities, but this time the room was assailed by an unpleasant, possibly drainage smell. The room was cold and the controls for the central heating did not work. There was no sink plug in the bathroom. We visit family when staying there, so only used the hotel for sleeping and breakfast, but may not book again.

Everything you need and no hard sell.

This is a budget motel close to the M40 motorway. I've stayed many times along with my dog, for whom I pay £20 per stay extra. There's also a new £5.00 per night parking fee. If you don't mind the drive into Oxford, you'll pay much less than a hotel or guesthouse within the city and you'll have plenty of parking near the front door. Sadly, smokers outside that door give the place a dodgy look which is not deserved by what's inside.
