As soon as we arrived at De Los Reyes hotel, it was clear the property was very run down and it’s not what you see online when we booked it. While checking in, we noticed two people ahead of us who appeared to be homeless and carrying many individual small bags. One was denied a room by the front desk, who remained polite and professional. Once we entered the room, the condition was unacceptable. The floors were sticky, the bedding and pillowcase smells sour odor and surprisingly the sheets and pillowcases were dark brown color which I’ve never seen in a hotel before. The bathroom floor tiles were chipped and dirty and the patio door lock was bent and looked like it had been broken into previously. Overall environment outside the hotel was also unwelcoming, filthy grounds surrounded by barbed wire. We tried to convince ourselves to stay but after 15 mins and the condition is unbearable. We clear the room right away 15 mins after we check in. The room and property were in such poor condition that we checked out immediately.

The rooms floor was dirty, the chain lock was broken off the wall, the AC was weak and I was warned not to turn it too cold or it would blow. Main office smelled like cat pee. The pictures on here look cute but this place is a dump.

First time here after being recommended by a relative and it did not disappoint the pool is great for a dip to cool down, nice room with everything you will need. The staff was also supper friendly and very knowledgeable about things to do while in town. Will definitely stay again when visiting Palm Springs

Judging by the way that it looked from the pictures looked online & the outside of the property I really thought that we would’ve had a more comfortable updated and not to mention AC!!!! As soon as we walked in, the AC was not turned on. it was about 100° inside the room the furniture even felt hot. It wasn’t ideal to walk into a hot room with no AC on at a hotel. That was definitely a first for me. Not only that but the room wasn’t clean. It was picked up, but that’s about it. It was very outdated room. The furniture & bathroom felt like I was living in the 90s.

This is the second time staying here, first time was okay and dog friendly was a plus…This time around was not great, got the same room which gave me creepy vibes and again the TV didn’t work, I went down to complain this time cuz first time that’s the only thing that sucked…like at least have a tv that can Turn On so I can watch my own Netflix on my “mirror” phone…he straight up lied and said they are having an issue since a couple of hours ago …meanwhile in the reception area the baseball game was one like I love baseball would of been nice or I just need tv to fall asleep to so never ever again for me. And next time don’t lie to my face like just say ur cheap and ur tVs are done and time to replace them man.

Budget friendly good location

Budget friendly motel with clean rooms and cold AC. The swimming pool was decent sized but I still opted to sit on the side and not plunge because I wondered how often it had been cleaned. Location is on the main toad into downtown but a tad south. It was fine for a cheap stay.
