There was a smell of sewer gas coming from the drain in the shower. Hot water was in short supply. After a few minutes in the shower, the water temperature dropped to cold. Excellent location for access to public transportation: trains, metro, RER, busses.

Well located for transport. Several good dining option are very close. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The area is a little unsavoury but I would still highly recommend Les Deux Geres

This property is perfectly nestled next to the Gare de l’Est. Situated on a corner overlooking the station, it is a quiet, clean hotel, with pops of color and homages to great artists, thinkers, and musicians. The hotel offers a wonderful assortment of foods for breakfast and the staff are all very kind. It was a wonderful stay and I definitely plan to return when the next opportunity to visit Paris arises.

Lovely 3 day stay here. Such a cute hidden gem in Paris and so welcoming. Very comfy beds & fabulous bed linen/decor. Staff so lovely and helpful also. Plenty of Ubers to get around but half an hour walk to most areas. We spent our last day in Montmartre and le Marais area and loved it.

I was looking for a hotel between Gare de Nord and Gare de l'Est for our short stay in Paris and I liked the vibes this place gave off with the colorful room styles. The room was small/cozy, but the bed was comfortable and after a full day of walking around the city I fell asleep easily. I liked the quirky color palette of the bathroom, and there were robes and sandals available for our use (we didn't use). We didn't purchase breakfast so I can't offer an opinion regarding that.
