The Space:
After a fun-filled day of shredding fresh powder on the slopes, unwind in this charming 2 bedroom condo perfectly situated at the base of Park City Mountain.

Upon entrance to this beautifully-appointed home, guests will appreciate the natural light coming in from the tall glass windows. Cozy up in the family room, with your loved ones, on the plush sectional sofa as you feel the warmth of the indoor gas fireplace permeating throughout the room. Unwind for the night as you watch your favorite show on the large flat-screen TV. The chef in your family will appreciate the fully-equipped kitchen where they can prepare a delicious meal for your group. Keep the cook entertained with the 3 breakfast bar stools seating in the kitchen. Enjoy your dinner in the well-decorated dining area, where you can share your fun-filled stories of the day as you marvel at the rustic chandelier - a stunning masterpiece.

Step out into the spacious private outdoor deck, where you can enjoy a drink or two while gazing out into the spectacular mountain views of Park City Mountain. Tables with plenty of seating for your entire group are available during your stay, should you decide to host an afternoon cookout. Don't forget to stargaze and breathe in the fresh mountain air, as you wind down for the night with the peaceful and tranquil view from the outdoor deck.

The master bedroom, on the main floor, boasts a luxurious king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, tall glass windows, and an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Around the corner, is a nook with private curtains, that has a comfortable full-size bed. Additional guests can make their way to the upper level of the home, where they can recharge for the night in the bedroom with two queen-size beds, and an additional twin-size bed. This room features an en suite half bathroom, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo around the corner. There is also a modern walk-in steam shower on this floor of the home, designed to melt your stress away.

A half bathroom is available on the main floor of the house, directly across from the kitchen. There are also plenty of things to do in the complex with a community indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, a fitness center, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer available during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guest will have access to the entire condo, private outdoor deck, community indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, and shared hot tub. You will also have access to one free parking space in the underground parking.

The Neighborhood:
This condo is the perfect gateway to experience the mountain and outdoor adventures in Park City. The Main Street Historic District is a short 8-minute bus ride where you will have access to multiple eateries, breweries, museums, shopping, and other unique entertainment options. With Payday Express Lift steps away from the condo, unlimited access to skiing, hiking, and other fun mountain adventures during your vacation getaway are at your fingertips. Don't forget to check out the Park City Alpine Slide for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Getting Around:
Park City Main Street Historic District is a short 8-minute free bus ride with Park City Mountain stop on the Green route only a 1-minute walk from the condo. Payday Express Lift, located steps away from the entrance of the condo, will bring you to the best ski resorts in Park City. Uber/Lyft are always available.

Other Things to Note:
Please note that, like most homes in Park City, this home does not have A/C.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

Great, but Wifi setup was confusing

Hi, I had a great stay. However, the email sent to me aoub the unit said that the Wifi information would be provided in the room. When we arrived there was no Wifi information. However, the Wifi had an unlocked channel call the "the lodge". Please update the unit email to mention using the "the lodge" instead of the "wifi information will be provided in the unit". Thanks.

Safety hazard and suboptimal communication

I'll start with the good/neutral. The unit was well located, right next to a ski slope and fun summer activities. The building was older but well-maintained and the bedrooms and amenities were essentially as pictured. The layout of the unit was slightly awkward, including a 3rd bedroom that was really more of a nook (though that was expected given the description). Now for the bad. Check-in was difficult, requiring use of a separate website that made the process long and clunky when we arrived late at night. The unit had no instructions on how to operate the TV, which after frustrating trial and error I eventually figured out. The worst part of our stay was a serious safety hazard involving the large 40 lb antler chandelier above the dining room table. On the 2nd day of our stay, the chandelier spontaneously fell from the ceiling not 3 feet from where my family was seated in the living room. Had we decided to eat indoors 5 minutes later than our outdoor meal, I am sure someone would have been seriously injured, if not worse. The chandelier was obviously improperly installed with a small hook not suited for the weight of the fixture. The incident was very scary, and to make a bad situation worse the communication with the rental company has thus far been less than desirable. It took over 24 hours to get the chandelier moved and the mess cleaned up so we could use the table. The crew who cleaned it up left the back door to the deck hanging wide open. Good location, nice place, quirky setup

We enjoyed our stay during the film festivals. The condo is very well located in base village of Park City mountain and right by a main bus stop. There are a couple quirks to be aware of. 1) the third bedroom is just a curtained nook off the dining room with a bed stuck in it and no room for anything more. The description does note this but we overlooked. 2) there are 2 baths upstairs for 1 BR. One of them is split in two with toilet in the BR and shower (only!?) in the hall. So your downstairs 2nd BR uses an upstairs bath. Very weird setup. 3) we seemed to have issues with the power. At times the toaster and a hair dryer wouldn't work and phones etc. weren't charging well. The pool and hottubs plus fitness center were a decent bonus and nice enough.

RENTER BEWARE

I would not recommend this unit to anyone. More importantly, I would avoid any property being managed by LocalVR. With the exception of Bobby, everyone else was difficult to deal with (if you could get a hold of them) ...especially Noah (who is supposedly their Director of Guest Services). I find it helpful to read these things only if there are actual substantive details so I will list them below: 1) Local VR allowed my family to check into the unit even though they knew there was an active leak from a black water pipe in the wall. That leak showed up on the second night of our stay & it flooded the master bathroom and all of our toiletries. Worse was we had to vacate the unit. Their response - a refund of only the nights unused. It should be a full refund. When I stated I might take whatever actions necessary to get my full refund, Noah's response was: "I don't care. Have your lawyers contact us. We're protected so we'll see how that goes." Noah is missing the point- LocalVR and the property owner left my family of 6 in a bind trying to relocate a large family last minute at one of the busiest times of the year at an enormous cost. If that weren't enough... 2) When we arrived, the place was not properly cleaned. In one of the beds, we found candy left behind, candy wrappers, and trash. 3) The AC and Heat did not work properly. 4) They do NOT allow use of the ski lockers. I'll post an update as to how this all gets resolved.

This was a very nice stay. They utilized the space very well. It was very clean. It was decorated very tastefully. The beds and bedding were nice and comfortable. The deck was a pleasant place to hang out. The kitchen was stocked well. It was conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again.

Easy on and off ski lift

This place is a little smaller then the pictures look. Overall it served our needs. Great location for ski in-ski out. We had few issues but the owner was easy to contact and took care of our concerns immediately. The building is older but the apartment has been updated. Upstairs gets very hot. If you are coming to ski its perfect and easy to ski to lifts.

Loved the cubby!

This condo has been beautifully renovated and thoughtfully designed. It was cozy yet provided everyone the space they needed. The cubby is awesome! All the kids were fighting over who was sleeping there...but I, the adult, pulled rank on it LOL. Although, the bed in the cubby was a little hard. We look forward to booking this condo again!

Fantastic Family Place to Stay, Close to it All

Our stay at the Mountain Lodge was perfect - super clean, well-organized and simple check-in process and Renee was very helpful and accommodating. Location is amazing - rented skis from Jackson's Base Camp (in building) and were steps to slope, also right on bus line.

Nice place. Unfortunate incident.

The location was great. We stored our skis outside on the balcony which saved time to/from the lockers. The shower/steam room was wonderful after a cold day skiing. Directions were good and checking in was no problem. We had one unpleasant experience. My 6-year-old and 10-year-old sons were building snowmen and throwing snowballs on the balcony which became a 9-alarm fire before we were given the chance to deal with it. Our notice there was a problem came when a resort employee knocked on our door and instead of simply asking us to have the children stop throwing snowballs, he threatened to call the police on them. We were taken aback by the threat and brought the boys in immediately and instructed them not to throw snowballs which we thought took care of the matter. Within the next 10 minutes, we received two phone calls from the property manager threatening to evict us for the children throwing snowballs. We don't know what information other parties were being given. The way it was handled by the resort employee and the property manager colored our perception of the resort for the rest of our stay. No one has ever threatened to call the police or evict us before, which made us overly cautious and attentive the rest of our stay trying to ensure the children didn't do anything that would upset anyone.

Good trip

Overall, this was a good place to stay. Our manager, Renee, was very responsive and accommodating. I liked the location and the rooms were fairly nice. I only wish the advertisement would have notified us that the swimming pool was still under renovation. It only showed that it would be completed by July 31 and our stay was well after that date. We could only get the shopping channel to work in the family room, and channel 4 in the master bedroom. There were no other channels. Also, we couldn't play a movie or show on WiFi because it wasn't fast enough. We actually had to spend the evening interacting with each other..haha...brutal! I loved the deck and the beds were fairly comfy. Very clean rooms.

Weekend getaway
