Nestled within the trees, Fincastle gives the air of privacy yet feels like a home away from home. With a screened porch located on the oceanside and a back deck facing the creek with expansive views, you have plenty of opportunities to sit outside and listen to the waves crashing on the beach or catch an incredible sunset over the creek. There are 4 bedrooms on the main level, 2 on each side of the home in an H-shape with jack and jill bathrooms between them. Underneath the house is another bedroom with a private bath. There is a 65” 4k smart TV in the living area, and every bedroom has an HD smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked, including a gas stove top, Keurig and regular coffee makers, updated outlets with USB hookups for all your devices, just to name a few. The open floor plan of the house allows the family to be together no matter if playing a competitive card game at the table or watching a movie or ball game on TV. The bathrooms were all updated in 2023. All showers have Delta removable spray wand shower heads. The home features a wet bar with a granite counter, ice maker, and sink. There is a utility room with a washer/dryer and a separate freezer. The driveway and landscaping were completely overhauled in 2023, complete with new concrete under the home, saving a beautiful live oak from vines, and plenty of parking. The creek dock is on navigable water at mid-to-high tides and it’s close to the boat launch. Fincastle re-introduces the old Pawleys style to the new generation of residents, where you rise with the sun and tell the time by the tide. At low tide, hunt for shells along the edge of the water or have a sandcastle competition with Grandma. Spend time playing on the creek dock, fishing, tubing or kayaking.
