Cabin was nice, king bed was extra creaky so we had to stay in the queen room. We reserved cabin 4 as I had a neck injury and couldn’t walk far when we arrived we were informed we had cabin 8 eyes twice as far a walk and that they didn’t reserve cabin#, yet we had just been there 4 days before and spoke to them in person. Kitchen also only had one fry pan to use for cooking and the temp when we arrived was 50 degrees inside.

We came in after a long drive and couldn’t even get a smile out of the front desk clerk. Nothing. It just soured me. The room was very spacious, unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the property as we arrived late and left early. The plumbing is very loud and based on the lodge’s location, I’m guessing a lot of folks working at all the Boardman industrial parks are coming here to stay. The noise started very early with the showers and toilets flushing. We won’t be back. Too costly for what we got.

Love this lodge, the ability to take a walk along the river path is so refreshing and the views are simply amazing! I also appreciate they allow pets, my Winnie loves the walks as much as I do. The restaurant is delicious and you can get items to go if you want to eat in your room.

It worked well for being by the river and the opportunity for walking and being outside after a long day of driving. Room was clean and comfortable, but my neighbors were super noisy. They did quiet down as the evening worn on though. I did not find the check in staff very friendly. She never smiled once, although, was efficient, but seemed to be unhappy.

What an amazing place at an amazing price. We really enjoyed watching the boats on the Columbia while sitting in the hot tub. The restaurant had great food and service. Hope to get to stay here again!!
