Good location, lots of character

Nice hotel, good chance from the usual standardized chain's. Great location, stunning views and good amtosphere in the hotel due to the regular themed events. Plus the Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. We got a standard room and it was clean and perfectly functional for a couple of nights. Only slight complaint is that the bed seemed a bit of on the small side for a double. Highly recommended though and would definitely stay again!

Lovely setting, great price

Stayed here for a night in the lakes with my girlfriend after spending a couple of hours at the Aqua Sana in nearby Centre Parcs (just a 20 min drive away - i can't recommend this spa highly enough!). Got the room for a bargain price - surrounded by fields with a river running by feels like you're miles from civilisation yet you're just a couple miles from the M6. Hotel is a little dated but open fires, Chesterfield sofas and a reasonably proved bar make up for it. Definitely recommend.

good trip enjoyed the stay at hotel

wefound location breath taking. loved peace in the country side. Food was good. overall v.good. would recomend to my friends. very close to lots of activities. Easy reach of main towns. One can go for walks from the hotel. 2 water courses surround the hotel. Easy to find. very close to M6.

Very remote location. Poor value for your money! On site restaurant is expensive and closest town is 20 min drive on high way!
