Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. The staff were friendly, but we had to ask for toilet paper and towels, and room cleaning. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where they didn’t offer room cleaning/bed making on a daily basis. We chose the king suite with kitchenette, while thinking it would be super convenient to cook for ourselves instead of having take out, the kitchen was stocked with very old and scratched pans and cracked dishes, needless to say we didn’t utilize the kitchen as we had hoped. The bed was so firm that I returned home with sore hips. There was constant painting and renovating throughout the building without any notice or signage. The price was on the lower end so I guess we sacrificed comfort for money. We won’t be doing that again especially for a longer stay. If it was only a few nights that would have been a more suitable place to stay.
On the plus side, it was in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and channel float. Walking distance to restaurants and beautiful Okanagan lake. Air conditioned suites.
