Serene Bay Muskoka Cottage

Pull back to a private Muskoka retreat! The cottage is located in Perry Township in Muskoka, close to the beautiful town of Huntsville, as well as Arrowhead and Algonquin Parks. Nearby trails allow you to enjoy ATV in summer or snowmobile in winter.

Enjoy a bonfire evening with a lookout for a scenic lake view. Emsdale Spring Water fountain is in the neighborhood for you to enjoy fresh spring water. The cottage is fully winterized, a perfect place to stay for skiing trips.

The space
A serene and private place to stay, our three-story cottage has 3 good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (appx 1900 sq ft house) and it is spacious enough for up to 7 people to sleep comfortably.

The main floor with deck has an open concept kitchen, living, and dining room. The second floor has a master bedroom and a second bedroom. The recreation room in the basement is full of games, books, and DVDs. Big screen TV is set up with a Roku streaming device with a subscription. Children are welcome and will enjoy playing there. Please contact us for detailed information as young children may need supervision

Lovely inFall

Very private, well-equipped 2-storey cottage on a small quiet lake with a nearby walking trail through some pretty wetlands. We enjoyed swimming & paddleboarding. Canoe, kayak and pedalboard also available. Decks off master bedroom & main floor overlook lake. A very relaxing get-away to catch up with family or friends. Owner is very accessible.

Absolutely lovely! Peaceful, amazing location on an ideal lake. The cottage had everything we needed and was super clean. Lots of outdoor activities available too. A simply divine vacation.

Beautiful Cabin and great fishing!

Very nice and comfortable accommodations. Everything you need to enjoy your stay, and the views of the lake are beautiful. The fishing was great too! The owners were very easy to reach and very responsive to our needs. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Mother's Day Weekend

The cottage is a gem in the middle of the Muskokas. It was well taken care of, communication with the owner was great and he answered all our questions/concerns. Everything was clean and there was an assortment of boating/outdoor gear available for use, including a BBQ. Our kids particularly enjoyed using the paddle board. We'll definitely consider booking this place again in the near future.

Perfect Winter Get Away

This is place is great for three couples looking for a winter get away. Accommodation were exactly as described and extremely clean. Beautiful view of the lake. Very quiet and private. 20 minute drive from Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we would go everyday to ski, skate and snowshoe. Thank you Julius

Beautiful for a fall getaway

We stayed for only a snowy fall weekend. The cottage is nestled in a forested area on a lake. The view of the lake from the cottage is exactly as pictured and is beautiful. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. However, be aware that the tap water is not potable so you'll need to bring your own drinking water. The indoor entertainment options included a TV area with a good-size TV and a number of streaming services. The only issue we had with the property was that we were met with an overwhelming smell of naphthalene (moth balls) when we arrived. This smell lingered for most of the weekend despite our attempts to air it out. Overall we had a great time.

Cozy cottage to enjoy the Fall season

This is truly an amazing cottage. It has all the amenities of home but better. The lake view from the deck was spectacular with all the colors of fall. The location was in close proximity to Algonquin park which we did visit for some hikes and Huntsville was only 20 minutes away. I would recommend this cottage for families and friends to gather and make everlasting memories.

Loved our stay!

This cottage was perfect for our group. With three couples and a baby, we had plenty of room without feeling like we were on top of each other. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything that we needed. The property is very private as well. We also loved having the water toys (paddle boards, peddle boat, canoe, and kayak) available to us. Julius was a very accommodating host and always responded promptly to any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome place for a family vacation!

Serene Bay is a great cottage that is well laid out, spacious, nicely decorated and extremely clean. We loved the fact that sheets and towels are included so no need to bring your own which saves time and space in the car! The owners think of all the touches including a very nice welcome basket. We would highly recommend this cottage.
