Pool was closed and staff said that it was not their fault and that it was the state inspector that shut it down. Then refused give us a discount as the amenities were not available

Overpriced hotel

The first front desk staff member was fantastic—super friendly and engaging. The room had a unique layout, with the closet located inside the bathroom, and the TV was positioned at an awkward angle. The checkout time listed on Hotels.com was 12 PM, but the actual checkout time was 11 AM. We weren’t aware of this, and the cleaning crew was extremely rude about it while also reeking of weed. Additionally, the hotel had a sign stating they offer complimentary personal items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hairbrushes if needed, which was a nice touch if they actually had any. I went downstairs to see if they had an extra toothbrush but they were all out. Also, despite advertising a pool, it was not open during our stay. Given that we paid $175 per night, this was disappointing.

Wifi was out the majority of the 3 nights we were there. I tried to use the Business Center to check in and print our boarding passes and neither of the computers in the Business Center was working either. I asked the front desk staff and he said "It's been so long since I've even gone in there, I don't know. The computers are so bad." Bathroom door was a sliding door almost like a barn door so it didn't have a lock and didn't shut completely (there was a gap between the door frame and the door on both sides). Breakfast was decent - make your own waffle, an egg dish, a sausage dish, oatmeal, and various cereals and yogurts, breads, etc. The first night, the adjacent room to us had their TV on very loudly. Decent fitness room. Would probably not stay here again.

Nice Hotel for Families

Had a very nice stay at Hampton Inn & Suites. My son was disappointed there were no omelets on the last morning of our stay.

A good value!

I really liked it but one thing, the smell of room freshener or cleaning products was overwhelming in our first room, I had to ask if I could move. The front desk guy let me try 3-4 other rooms and finally I found one that was ok. The bathroom floor was sticky like they cleaned it with cleaner then didn’t wipe it off. Everything else was good, the bed was completely comfortable and clean. The breakfast lady was nice and the food was much better than I expected; it was better than most all of the other chain hotels I go to . Most importantly they let me bring my two dogs and the front desk guy was the friendliest front desk guy I remember ever having, except one other hotel.
