Not satisfied with my recent stay here. The key didn’t work even after one the staff members rekeyed it 3x. He ended up switching my. Took about 30 minutes to get inside my room after flying for 7 hours, that last thing I wanted to do is wait for anything. The carpet was severely stained. The coffee station in the room had no cups, creamers, sugars, etc. the fridge in the room didn’t cool and was leaking inside of it. Ended up throwing away my leftovers. In the eating area in the lobby, there was about 7 rotten oranges when I arrived. The following morning when I went down for breakfast they were still there. Once the lady who handles the breakfast finished cleaning up, the oranges were still there… I should’ve took a photo. The gentleman that was there when I arrived was very nice and accommodating. However, the guy that was there when I left the following morning was not friendly what so ever. I went up to him on my way out just to let him know I’ve checked out of my room and he just gave me a thumbs up and continued walking. I typically LOVE holiday inn, but idk wth this was. Lastly, I saw several men walking around the hotel and just hanging out in the lobby. I did notice they had a room but it almost gave the vibe they were practically living there? I’m not sure.. check the cameras I guess. It was cheap, dirty, old and was overly priced at about $200 per night…. INSANE. Not happy at all.

The front desk was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. The breakfast was amazing. But the room was old, it was noisy, the bathroom was in bad shape, the soap and shampoo dispenser was empty. It just needs to be cleaned up a bit. But the employees were wonderful! Location is great if you need a close to airport hotel. But it was still expensive!

Breakfast should have started at 6. I wasted time looking for the front desk assistant to check me out because no one was at the desk. Someone showed up and told me I can just go. An information like this at booking would help save time. Staff didn’t seem welcoming enough. I expected better for the rate.

This hotel was pretty tired with few amenities. It is in a very unusual location sandwiched between two historical sites (an early quarantine hospital that was a pre Ellis Island place to process immigrants in the nineteenth century and a site commemorating an early Swedish settlement in the area). The hotel itself however, is dominated by a huge and very ugly parking lot. It is right next to the Delaware River but apparently no architect was involved in its design because there is not a single window facing the river or the nature preserve that is on the other side! No breakfast, obviously PLENTY of parking, a good location to get into Philadelphia but very few dining options in the immediate area. Very basic and not all that clean...

Checkin: The receptionist couldn’t find our reservation when we first arrived. I confirmed the last name and she said she had nothing. When I asked her if she would like my Expedia confirmation number she said ‘no, I can’t look it up by that’. I gave her my phone to show her the reservation and she was able to find it. Keys: Only one of the two issued keys worked. Room: The heat was on when we walked in, it’s June. Body wash container was empty. Brown stains on the side of the bed we don’t notice until it was time to check out. “Breakfast”: absolutely horrendous, terrible, disgusting. Dry, old, stale mess. For over $250 dollars for a night and off the beaten path just go somewhere else.

Well, I wasn't feeling good & my grandsons took the ice bucket tray to bring me breakfast & was told that's not allowed. So my husband went and made two trips. Overall, he should have allowed them to bring me breakfast on the ice bucket tray. ;)
