The casita was adequate. The basics were there, but there are a few things that would have made this a more enjoyable stay. First, the roads in are all loose gravel and rough, as is the steep hill to the property. Parking is tricky and puts you at an awkward unsafe angle, so getting in and out is no fun, and dangerous. As to the casita- it has NO decoration whatsoever, which we found depressing. There is only one trash can inside, so we needed to devise our own for bathroom trash. I had to go to the store to get Kleenex, and a proper dish sponge since we wash dishes by hand so there’s something to eat with and drink from. The only television is in the bedroom, and I made the suggestion to the owner to put it on the large blank wall in the main room and rearrange the sofa and table to improve the flow and use. The view at sunset is very nice, and with a few changes, this would be a decent place. However, we will not be back.
