This is more of a backpackers vibe. We booked a whole room for a family of 4 (it had 3 bunk beds and a queen bed). Continential breakfast is provided, abd while average , its not bad for budget accommodation. Edit picton is the other place we stayed that might be more suitable for families. This place wasnt bad either, probably lote suited to singles.

The room was so fresh looking and very roomy, I love how easy check in and out is and appreciate the good facilities and shared living space. Love the views from the verandah. My second visit to The Boathpuse Lodge and another very pleasant comfortable experience.

The lodge looks nicely refurbished,the double bed room was very nice,nearly no noise from the street.the tv room like a living room. Love it if required I would book it again.
