Two large comfortable dens with sink-into sofas mean there’s plenty of space for family time but also somewhere to escape for a little peace and quiet.

Everyone will love their accommodations in one of the eight bedrooms that are all equally sized and equipped. The Lodge offers six king suites and two bunk rooms, and each room benefits from its own ensuite private bathroom. When you stay at The Lodge At Caney Creek there’s no arguing over who has the best bedroom – they’re all the best!

We stayed here for a combined Bach party and had a great experience. The location was perfect for easy access off the main road. We loved that it didn't take 20 minutes to get up the road and had lots of food, coffee, and fun activities about 10 minutes away. Dollywood was only 15 minutes and easy to avoid traffic! Great space for hosting large meals with the long tables as well, loved the bedrooms and private bathrooms! We would have loved soap being provided for hand washing in the bathrooms as that is not something standard we usually pack. We did run out of Propane after grilling burgers one evening, but they did replace it the very next morning! Hot Tub, Fireplace, and backyard was all as expected and very nice! We recommend staying here and would do so again if needed.

We are not too demanding when we go somewhere together without our families, so everything we encountered in this house inside and outside was okay. Absolutely loved our stay! We came down from Michigan with a large family group of 44 people, and everyone had a bed to sleep on. The home was super cozy, clean, and full of activities to keep everyone entertained. We even spotted a few bears during our trip, which made the experience even more memorable. The property had plenty of open grassy areas, which our small dogs loved running around in. Everything was spotless and well taken care of. Truly a great experience for our whole family, and we’d definitely love to come back!

We had 12 people staying for a work event. The house was a perfect size for our group (I can't imagine housing as many as the house officially sleeps but if you're not planning on being in the house much that could work). The house had everything we needed and since the listing stated we should bring extra supplies of detergent, etc we did this. Overall the beds were comfortable. The pillows weren't what most of us preferred but they were clean, as was everything else. There was plenty of room in the outside bins for trash. The kitchen had everything we needed. The extra coffee maker was great because we could have one ready and one staged so there was always fresh coffee.The furniture was clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs. The theater seating was a little worn but nothing that detracted from our experience. The steep drop from the top of the driveway was a bit of a challenge (at least 2 Uber drivers bottomed out coming down). The fact that there's a big pot hole right as you come down didn't make this easier, but I didn't have any trouble in my SUV. I wouldn't suggest bringing a sports car though. Communication at check in was great (I couldn't find the instructions and was very tired from traveling - we'd driven a very long distance with no rest) but I got a very quick response and had everything we needed before we checked in. They followed up with me the next morning as well. Overall we'd stay there again if we come to this area in the future.

Great location and excellent facilities. It was perfect for 17 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which was great. Definitely recommend for larger gatherings.

Property was great for our needs. Creek was great for wading and fire pit under shade was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and other amenities. There were a few minor challenges to note. Many of the sinks and tubs did not have a plug for their drains, making baths for children challenging. Dryer did break (owner was quick to remedy).

Our stay was delightful! We all had a wonderful time. We were gathered as a family for our brother's memorial service and being able to all stay together was a real blessing. The cabin was well stocked and all that was advertised!Our only complaint/issue was with the table benches and their legs. We all tripped over them multiple times.

We had a great stay this past weekend at the cabin. The cabin could use a good deep clean and a facelift in some areas, but the quick response and great communication from the property manager made up for the needed updates. The cabin has large bedrooms and plenty of room for a large group. We would book again.

Great place and location

We loved the house. It was big and had a lot of things for the kids to do inside and out. Adults loved it too with every bedroom having their own bathroom. It was in a great location so we could get to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge very quickly. Everything was very clean. My only small complaint is that The ceilings in between the upstairs and downstairs rooms are incredibly thin so you can literally hear everything that is going on above you. I would suggest putting down some big area rugs to absorb some of that noise. Otherwise everything was great.

Perfect in every way

We were delighted with Caney Creek! Easy access, spacious rooms (including bedrooms), well-stocked, and COMFORTABLE SEATING. The children loved playing in the creek catching frogs and little fish. Plenty of hangout space for relaxing solo or with the group. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved it!!!

Creek time!

This house was perfect for our family, my brother’s family, my mom and aunt! Everyone had their own very large bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance and utensil you could need! They also had plenty of kitchen towels, scrubbies, and pot holders! The outside yard was absolutely perfect with the large fire pit, benches for sitting and right next to the babbling creek. I will be booking this house again for sure! Thanks for a wonderful long weekend!

Sensational Senior Trip

The lodge was perfect for a large group, offering large spaces to do things together and enough varied areas for smaller groups to separate if desired. Amazing Week Getaway

We had a group of 35 stay here for a week getaway and it was absolutely amazing. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and all the appliances worked perfectly. Had absolutely no trouble finding everything. A nice surprise was that the fire pit has been updated with benches and a gravel pit around it which made it easier for sitting around and making s’mores. Communicating with the owners was super easy, and they checked up on us to make sure everything was going well or if we needed anything. This was such a great experience for everyone and we will definitely be booking with Thomas Rentals Again!

Family Trip

Overall the property was a hit. The property provided the space we needed for the whole family. The Wi-Fi did not work most of the trip but it provided tons of conversation and eliminated the kids staying on social media the majority of the time. The place was clean for the most part and provided appliances that everyone needed to make the evening a success. The theater was everything and the creek was relaxing. The kids enjoyed the fish and turtles in the creek. The fire pit was also everything and provided a campfire atmosphere. I would definitely book this property again.

The property is perfect for a group with children. They loved the creek and we had many nighttime fires in the firepit. Also grassy area for bocci ball, wiffle ball and volleyball. The biggest problem was the benches around the table. They are poorly designed with everyone catching their foot or ankle on them. Also, needed new filters and it smelled moldy. Otherwise a very enjoyable property.

Wonderful family vacation rental

We had a great family vacation here! Very conveniently located within 15 minutes of attractions and downtown Gatlingburg and close to hiking, nature and the Smokey’s. Barbecue. double fridge and laundry were a plus. Theatre and gaming tables were also very fun for kids. Host was very kind and responsive. Overall great stay and would highly recommend the lodge at Caney Creek.

Mountain getaway

Perfect location to explore the smokies mountains. The children loved the cinema room, the game room but most of all the creek and bear sightings. It was a short drive to most pigeon creek and gatlinburg activities. The smokies mountain national park was minutes away! What a wonderful property and vacation for all. Comfortable, well stocked with basic needs cooking and bedding..
