Quiet Wilderness

Beautiful stay in the Strawberry Pine area. The house is clean and furnished beautifully. The games room is perfect for evening entertainment. We enjoyed our stay in the first weekend of May. Lots of birds and wildlife to see as well

Great rental!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this property. It was a great getaway for Thanksgiving weekend and we even got to see snow! The property was extremely clean and well taken care of along with being well stocked! We will definitely look to rent this again and would recommend!

Strawberry Getaway

This home is absolutely beautiful. The owner has thought of every detail to accommodate your every need. The home is beautifully furnished. My family of seven adults were so comfortable. Great mountain view cabin and brand new!

The cabin is awesome. It has all the amenities you need and is a new build on great condition. The views are spectacular. We had a herd of at least 20 elk greet us upon our first arrival to the property. It was pretty amazing to see. We were pleased to see how clean the place was and Laks was a great host keeping clear communication up to the scheduled stay.

Spectacular house

We stayed in for 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. Everything is extremely clean in the house and very new. The house design is modern and neat. The garage game room is fully equipped with games. The views are amazing. Very nice and quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely amazing!

When looking for houses to stay at for a staycation, I wanted one with a view, a nice balcony, and to see green trees. This house surpassed my expectations! My mom and I had literal tears in our eyes when it was time to leave. The house was spotless, it almost felt as if we were staying in a model home. I cannot wait to book my next stay!

We will return!

Had a great visit to this Vrbo. Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked all of our meals here and found everything we needed. The patio is perfect, plenty of space and chairs. Grill worked awesome, owner had extra tank of propane at the home, greatly appreciated. WiFi is very spotty, but he did tell us prior and is working on getting better, so for now I recommend bringing hot spot. Verizon worked fine. The owner was very quick with responses to all my questions prior and while we were there. Super clean throughout. Oh, the game room was a lot of fun, hadn’t played ping pong in years. Wish we would have booked for longer stay.

Stop looking, This is the place!!!!

I struggle to write a review about this place because I don’t want this place to be booked up when I want to rent it again. But this place is too beautiful to keep a secret. We came to Strawberry for a friends wedding and we didn’t want to leave this amazing house. I can’t explain how beautiful this place is. The location felt so secluded but yet within 2 minutes of town. When you first drive up to the property you are in awe. The big gorgeous windows facing the east and large patio is perfect for early morning coffee watching the sunrise. Lots of wildlife can be seen at all hours of the day. If you want a perfect getaway this is the spot. Laks I can’t thank you enough for the quick responses to my questions and for allowing us the opportunity to stay at this absolutely amazing place. I will definitely be back.

Peaceful retreat for family!

We were stunned by the beauty of this home from the curb appeal, the beautiful decor, and the views! All we wanted to do is sit out on the deck and watch the elk and mule deer that visited at least twice a day and just enjoy the peaceful setting. The game room downstairs was a real hit with our kids and granddaughter and ourselves, as well. We also went on walks around the area and we cooked most of our meals on the BBQ or the nicely equipped kitchen. We slept very well each night on the comfortable beds and we all liked that we all had our own bathrooms with showers with nice towels. Everything was sparkling clean and even this super fussy germaphobe nurse never felt like I needed to reclean things like I have done at other properties we stayed at in the past. Overall, this was the perfect setting for our little four year old granddaughter’s birthday and she can’t wait to “go back to the trees” .....thank you so much! We will return!

Magical

If anything, the listing understated the beauty and magic of this place. The cabin (the owner has photos of it when it was being built, check them out in the game room) is well laid out: a spacious deck that runs the length of the home, and a huge sliding glass door leading in and out from the living room/ kitchen area. It is from this vantage point that you will often find yourself just looking out and into the forest, where you will see anything from an extended family of elk (including the baby elk) perusing the lavender or spruce along the roadways. Or at night you will have a canopy of stars, far more than you will likely see anywhere else. The cabin is described as app. 2500 sq. Ft, but to us ( a family of 5, including three very mobile young children) it felt much larger. One thing they did that we thought was very smart was they converted the garage into the game room—which, if you have a 12-month-old (as we did), made for a very safe and large floor space for her to run around in without doing damage to herself or others ;). We stayed here during somewhat of a heat wave for this area, and the A/C was very modern and cooled the entire house very well (sometimes that’s not the case in cabins where there aren’t many super hot days). The building of this home was obviously inspired. In that vein, staying here, I would suggest paying respect to that inspiration by taking care of it. Suffice to say, we enthusiasticallly recommend this cabin.
