The lady at the breakfast place was horrible. We went to breakfast at 8:45 and half of the food trays were empty. I literally saw her taking stuff from the bar and keeping it in the room, though there are multiple people still coming to eat breakfast. By 9:15, she started packing everything and they closed everything before 9:30. Extremely terrible hospitality.

You couldn't open the pull out bed and walk through to use the bathroom. There was no room to walk. Ran out of food for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Ridiculous!!! No coffee, green bananas, no yogurt, nothing!!!!

The hotel was well-kept and had a good breakfast. The pool area was also well managed and a good temperature. This is a solid place to stay in the Pittsburgh area, given it's location near the airport and the wonderful restaurants in the Robinson area nearby. The only real drawback is that there were questionable people outside of the hotel during all hours, a bar nearby the entrance (which probably lends to the problem) and a continual smell of marijuana being smoked in the parking lot. The hotel is basically an old office building that has been revamped and converted into a hotel (so it doesn't look like much from the outside) and is not a new build or modern by any means. Still, the staff was friendly and kind. It is very clean on the inside and well-run. We enjoyed our breakfasts and swimming. It was comfortable, quiet and very clean.

We were in town for a concert at the ppg paint arena. We opted for the Holiday Inn for its cheaper rates and listed amenities. It was easy to get to from the highway and close enough to the arena for a cheap uber ride to avoid having to worry about the detours and construction going on. The staff were all great. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The included breakfast was ok but get there in advance of the 930 cut off because they stop bringing food out. The pool was kind of hazy and the area felt really dated. There was a missing tile near our shower but it was a baseboard tile and it was small. Overall we were pleased with our stay but we werent wow'd, and some updates could/should happen here.
