Spring Vacation
We have stayed at El Farro once before. This time unfortunately the floors and one bedroom closet were very sandy when we arrived. The maid must have forgotten to clean them as the bathrooms and bed were done perfectly. Management sent someone in the next morning to clean them. The maid herself was surprised to see all the sand on the closet shelf. We got locked on our balcony as the handle was very loose and would not catch to open and a glass door fell off a kitchen cupboard. I had to climb through the kitchen window to open it from the inside. Again someone came in to fix the issues the next day. Our only other issue was that this time we had a unit on the street side. We could still see the ocean from our balcony but we could hear the loud music and people talking until three each morning. If you have difficulty sleeping with noise I would recommend a unit facing the pool. We were on that side the last time and it was considerably quieter although you could still hear the noise if you liked to open your window at night. We do but couldn’t this time because it sounded like the music was in our unit when the window was open. With it closed it felt like they were on the street serenading us! Aside from these unfortunate experiences the complex was very clean and the pool overlooking the ocean was a very peaceful place to relax and rejuvenate.
