I’m a little surprised that this resort is claiming to be five stars. I think it’s a solid 3, at best. Food and drinks are below average. Property isn’t old, but it’s heavily worn out/aged, your room will be in constant state of moist, and pool chairs/umbrellas are hard to find over the weekend. Service was definitely a disappointment, help was either hard to find or wasn’t in a hurry to assist, even though those that were there were nice enough. Just sharing an overall vibe/operation of the place as it stands. P.S. Beach is non existent, probably nothing they can do, it’s just where they’re located.

Resort is small but well done. Food in buffet is great and the restaurants were all amazing! The biggest issue I had was the slew of sales and services that are pushed on to you at all times. Relentless amounts of people approaching you everywhere. It’s hard to get to the buffet without being approached by someone with the intention of selling you a timeshare. The excursion people also will continually approach you at the pool and anywhere on the resort. This is a first for me. I understand the lobby area having some sales folks in it but my wife and I had to change routes from our room to the buffet to avoid sales men approaching us multiple times! Resort is clean and nice but I have never been more frustrated on a resort. It’s saddens me to say I was released to be leaving. Hope they solve this! Service staff were amazing and it’s a happy resort but this does need to change.

Wow! I was recommended to come to El Beso by a family member and i went to spend my birthday with my husband. It was an amazing experience & we has a great time at el beso. The food options are great, the rooms are amazing and comfortable. The staff is nice and friendly. Only thing I would of loved more was the beach area can use some improvements and the premium club staff that approach you as you arrive… they talk you into signing up for a breakfast in return to gifts. If you are experienced with how that works then you know. However i totally recommend el Beso resort. Loved it!!! Will definitely return.

Food options were substantial. Drinks were ok. Staff well trained on up selling. My biggest complaint was the multiple attempts at selling time shares and if you didn’t agree to buy, you’re treated like an undesirable and with disgust.

Food was very average, very little fresh fruit available. Most drinks were pretty bad with terrible sugar mixes used. Bad location for adult pool - it is directly across from the kids pool... We booked hydro therapy at the spa - extremely disappointing! They were completely unorganized, sauna was not turned on and ready for us. There was no guidance or assistance, hot tub wasn't very hot...

We enjoyed our stay at El Beso and were impressed with all the additional things that are included like tennis, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. lots of food options but there is some down time when restaurants are not open. Didn’t love that. Would visit again. Rooms are nice.
