We are a group of 2 adults and 1 toddler. PROS: it is in the center of everything. you don't need to commute. CONS: The rooms are on the next level above the restaurant. *going up the rooms is a snail staircase. It is narrow and not recommended for people who have difficulty walking, claustrophobic and who have kids ages 2-5. There is no handicap nor stroller access. *there is no front desk *customer service is only until 5sh and you have to call for someone on the phone to assist you. On the last day of our stay, the TV was not working and there is NO IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE. *workers in the restaurant DOES NOT HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING since they are not part of the hotel! * the hot/ cold water for the shower is terrible. Its either you are burning or freezing. Overall, this hotel is bearable for people who are young 20s and considers location as the most important factor but the accommodation was terrible. I would not go back to this hotel.

Great value for the location. Rooms are simple but clean and had everything I needed. Was very close to the dive shop I hired. Some minor issues: the room smelled initially. Smelled like the shower drain lost its water barrier and could smell the order emitting from it. Lasted for about day and a half but I was gone most of the time and kept the bathroom door closed. Also, you can hear the music from the bar/restaurant across the street. On the weekends, they play their music until about 4 or 5 un the morning. But, this is in the hesrt of the party area and I knew this going in.

Run away. The property is terrible. We arrived at Playa del Carmen late night on the 12/29th (around 10:30 pm). The room turned out to be located right above the restaurant Eat Italy and belonged to the same property. We were held at the restaurant reception for about 30 minutes until the restaurant administrator was processing the payment for entire period of stay. We were not allowed to go to the room upstairs until the payment was fully processed. Then we were placed at a different room (room #2) - not the one that we booked at Expedia. The room was much smaller and located at the backside of the building. The only window at the room at the room was overlooking the interior of the restaurant. After speaking with the administrator and exchanging messages with the owner representative, they moved us to the room that we actually booked (room #1). We immediately realized how noisy the room was. The representative clearly stated that the reason they took us first to the room that we didn’t book was because they knew that it was less noisy. Later we discovered that our room was located right across from the loudest night club in town. We could not sleep for the whole night until the club closed around 6 am. We moved out on the second day. Property owner declined to refund anything.

Meglio altrove

La lista sarebbe lunghissima ma provo a limitarmi: Non esiste reception e tutte le comunicazioni con la receptionist/direttrice/ unico contatto si fanno via WhatsApp. Wi-Fi funzionante in metà della camera (poi un router di fortuna ha fatto il miracolo di amplificare il segnale.) Pressione acqua della doccia inesistente. Per due giorni praticamente è senza acqua calda. Pulizie NON giornaliere ( come specificato a due riprese sulla mia prenotazione) Camera sulla strada difronte ad una discoteca con musica fino alle 4am ( ho scelto io la camera quindi non posso lamentarmi) ma i lavori di Falegnameria alle 8 del mattino o i vari trapani ( anche in questo preciso momento) alle 21:15 potrebbero essere evitati. Qui la gente durante tutto limite girono sta in spiaggia, cosa ci vuole ad organizzare i lavori quando i clienti sono fuori? Sifone del lavandino che si rompe dopo due giorni con conseguente allagamento del bagno.. e mi mancano ancora 5 giorni prima della partenza. La struttura non vale assolutamente il prezzo pagato!!! Da notare l'impotente gentilezza del contatto, la signorina Marielli, sempre disponibile ma con poche risorse a disposizione.
