This cozy little home has an amazing view! Perfect for hanging out and enjoying the perfect gulf breeze and watching the waves come in on the beach. The area under the house has a fish cleaning station and an outdoor shower to wash the day off before enjoying the home. Once inside, you have an open concept home with room to relax and still be part of the group even when making a meal! This two bedroom, two bath home is perfect for single families and small groups. With it being between two beach access points, it makes for a quick trip to the beach!

Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

Cobb had us sign a contract. (missed an email from them. Was looking for VRBO text. Online checkout time was at 2pm. (read small print). They called and mentioned that we had to leave at 9am. (nothing about contract) Talk to mgr to get 10am leave time. (not happy)

A new Adventure

We liked the open view from the deck to the view!! And we could easily walk to the beach from our place. We didn’t know that it was a drive on beach, so the weekend was pretty busy but it was pretty cool after that!

Found everything needed. Issue with ice maker but brought ice. Weather could have been nicer but never know over Christmas. We will book again as long as no one builds in front of the house!

Perfect for Us

The property was exactly as listed, we actually felt it was better than the pictures in the listing. It rained, the entire week which was not what we had expected. However, there were some games to play and there is a Roku in each bedroom as well as the living room. We cooked meals at the house all but 1 night. Everything we needed to cook with was supplied. There was only salt and pepper so you will need your own spices/seasonings. There wasn’t much Tupperware, but like spices we didn’t expect that so we bought some. Major Pros: the view!! Even through an entire week of rain it was the perfect view. Hot water heater was amazing! We could use both showers and have enough hot water and pressure. All 5 of us took showers without having to wait for the water heater to heat up between each one. There were extra fans provided and the patio furniture was nice. Cons: the master bed wasn’t that great. However, it was better than the Holiday Inn bed we stayed at on our way to the beach house, so really not a con. We hope to come back next year…with at least one day on the beach!

A week at Sea Song

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great seven days at Sea Song. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. The linen service is great and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is a nice view of the gulf. The beach is quite busy on the weekend but is peaceful during the week. My only complaint is the area around the trash can is loaded with sandburs, so if you are not careful you track them into the house and they stick to the rug and surprise people with bare feet. Overall, I would stay there again.

Great Place for a small group. Linen service came with house, so nice not to have to pack. House was clean & well taken care of. Only one thing there was no TV in the kids room. I hope to return soon.
