So excited this place reopened since I have many childhood memories going there and my parents were married there. I wish they still offered their buffet in the fine dining room. That was a real treat back in the day.
Observations: The staff was very nice. Love the Inn. The wedding spaces look very nice. Rooms have been made modern very nicely. Will stay there again.
However, there is no ramp for ADA access into the Dive restaurant. Unfortunately, the temp control was broken to several rooms including ours. It got a little chilly. They offered extra blankets. We understand things happen. My mom who is elderly couldn’t work the television and we tried to help. Not everyone has smartphones to watch their own things.
What really bothered us is the property’s speakeasy Prohibition was closed during our stay due to being short staffed because of weddings on-site. This is the 2nd time this has happened out of 3 visits. The last stay it was closed due to a private wedding related event. Since the first time we discovered it we talk about going again. Then we arrive only to find out it is closed again. I think you should be able to buy drinks at their Dive bar, maybe have them stay open a little later, so you can take them into Prohibition to take in the music and ambiance.
So after having 4 disappointments during one stay I found it surprising that no courtesies were offered to us.
