WATERFRONT CASA O'CONNOR

Waterfront Home. Casa O'Connor is one of our most popular rental homes. LOCATION is everything in POC and this one is conveniently located on the ICW walking distance from Froggie's Bait Camp and the Public Boat Ramp. This home features expansive views of the ICW and our Bay System. Plenty of room for you and your guest to spread out over this 3-level home. When you rent the entire home it comes equipped with 2 boat lifts! The 60' pier has a t-head on the ICW for fishing fun and wi-fi internet access if you must crack open the lap-top! The spacious upstairs deck measures 1,000 square feet.

This Unit is Not Pet Friendly

Note: House is built on zero lot line, parking Prohibited on either side of house. Towing enforced.

Rental includes bed and bath linens, hand soap, bar soap, dishwashing soap and dishwasher detergent (where applicable). Linens are limited to those on hand. Many properties have washers and dryers, plus there are convenient laundry facilities in Port O'Connor. For longer stays, you can request an optional housekeeping/laundry service. GUESTS SHOULD BRING WITH THEM THE FOLLOWING: personal toiletries, beach towels, food, and paper towels, if desired. Provided linens cannot be removed or used outside the property.

TRAVEL PROTECTION: If you have an unexpected issue and need to cancel or change dates for your trip or if we have a rain event from weather threats like thunderstorms, cold fronts or hurricanes and you are wondering about rescheduling or moving dates or cancelling we recommend TRIP INSURANCE or TRAVEL PROTECTION to cover these issues.

The location is perfect for fishing and boating. Launching at Froggies was sooo easy and the ladies loved the Sisters dress shop in walking distance. The deck was very nice in the morning for watching boats go by. Very comfortable space for 4 couples.

Great House and Location

We loved our stay at Casa O'Connor this summer. The house was the perfect size for our group of 9. We especially enjoyed the downstairs apartment where we could put two 13 year old boys. We brought our boat with us and loved the boat lift and the fact we didn't have to load and unload our boat each day. We spent most of our time on the beautiful new deck overlooking the ICW and just boat watching. We hope to return next year!

Great house on the intercoastal but needs some TLC

We loved our stay but there were some things with the house that we were a little disappointed with. All of the pans and cooking sheets were very grimy and almost rusty in appearance. We scrubbed them as best we could before cooking and we still used foil over them so our food wouldn’t cook on that surface. There were 3 coffee makers but only one with a coffee pot that fit. We were able to make it work for what we needed but just had to make multiple pots every morning. There was a dining room chair with a broken back piece and one of the globes on the living room fan was broken. The top floor bedroom also had some places that the paint was bubbled and cracked near the baseboard and on the wall of the stairwell. The big deck on the main floor is in need of repair. Some of the boards are peeling up and separating. A cool front moved in while we were there and we were unable to change the AC to HEAT because the owner had the Nest unit locked. The property manager (who was very kind and helpful) was able to reach them, thankfully, and the owner got it switched to heat remotely. Overall the property is in a great location and had everything we needed but I think some of these things should be updated/fixed. In regards to space, we had more than enough! The master floor has closets galore! In fact we didn’t even end up needing the lower floor unit! We would love to stay here again but may just bring our own cookware next time. Please understand this review is solely on the property, and doesn’t reflect the property management company. They were great and quick to respond when needed.
