Mountain View Farm. Pet-Friendly!

The Mountain View Farm is the ideal location to host a get together with family or friends and pets or have that solo reconnection time. The property is set of 5.5 acres and has the most ideal entertaining deck overlooking stunning mountain escarpment views. The undercover deck has a big table to host everyone for that long lunch. Reconnect with nature - the bird life and native animal life out there is abundant and amazing. Sit out on the deck as the black cockatoos, fly home at night or, frolic and explore all the hidden gems on the property, met the friendly lamas, or walk through the 700 acre bush common land that neighbours the property and is home to many horses and the Williwa Creek. The house has no neighbouring houses within view. However the property is a 3 minute drive to the local town of Portland which has a cafe, pub, IGA and the Foundations art centre. The house has a big open plan living area with bifold doors that open onto the deck, with a BBQ out on the back deck. The house has 3 bedrooms - 3 double beds, two single beds and two single pull out mattresses. It can comfortably sleep 10 people. The house has two bathrooms. There's an outdoor fire pit and indoor wood heater. 2.5 hrs from Sydney.
I love sharing a space where people can unwind and reconnect with nature. A place that is made for entertaining friends and family while having long lunches out on the undercover deck in the seclusion of nature looking over a beautiful mountain view.
The broader area has distilleries, a goat dairy and lake wallace dam for swimming. 40 minutes and you can be in the Japanese Bath House or exploring some of the many walks and sites of the Megalong Valley or Blue Mountains.

Things to remember -

Indoor heating is on the back wall near the hallway entrance; use the touchscreen to adjust temperature.

Smart TV and soundbar - use two remotes (white for TV, black for soundbar); turn both on for full sound.

You may pat the neighbouring horses, but do not feed or ride them.

Induction cookware is on the left side of the white kitchen sink; other pots and pans will not work.

Bird feed is kept in a glass jar outside and fed in their little home on the white handrail.

If you are bringing your dog, please be aware of all dangers on the property that your dog may be at risk.
