Had a nice stay - the staff were lovely and loved the new conservatory/restaurant area. There were a few things in the room that could have been improved and the soundproofing wasn’t the best (was woken and kept awake by someone watching a movie into the early hours) but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast was delicious but would have liked a continental selection or the ability to have fruit and yogurts etc. location is perfect for southsea.

Lovely hotel close to ships and beach
A small and lovely hotel with friendly and professional staff. The series of hotel blocks in a residential setting is a little odd, but works well. I would recommend to others, with a hope that they would get a better two nights sleep than we did. The first night was interrupted by noisy guests chatting and laughing in the stairwell. Not a fault of the hotel, just inconsiderate guests, but you kind of expect that the non cheap ticket price of the hotel will attract guests that have well versed in the etiquette of returning to their room at night. The second night was sleepless until approx 4am as there weather was appalling and the wind was desperate to pull the hotel sign down that was hanging right outside our window. The noise went on for hours as the sign was blown this way and that.
