The so location is beautiful. The door every keypads being programmed to the last 4 of your phone number is very convenient. I liked the heated tile floor in my bathroom and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is very basic, the shades and curtains in my room let in a lot of light and bring near the entryway meant I heard everything. Not what I expect for $200+ for a night.

For the price, the rooms were small and very understated, even for a bed& breakfast. There was no staff on site whom I met. Shower head was very low (not good if you’re above 5’10”. There were no hot offerings for breakfast (other than a fantastic cup of coffee). However, location was perfect and it was clean.

Facility was and rooms were very clean and well-maintained. I really appreciated the contact less check-in anf check-out. I stayed in Oak Room and it was very cute - decor fit the house while walls, bathrooms had clearly been renovated or updated as needed. A very well-stryck balance between updated and historic.

Our second visit here and can’t say enough good things about it. Beautifully maintained property with wonderful amenities. My favorite is the heated bathroom floors. They have drinks and mixers breakfast and coffee. TVs in the rooms, great WiFi access, individually controlled heat/ac. What a pleasure to stay here again in such a cool beautiful town. The leaves turning is just magical. The businesses and restaurants around Market St are all within walking distance. Great experience again and I highly recommend.

Rooms have comfortable bedding and very clean. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and soap are good quality. Coffee is good and options are oat milk, creamer, milk. Easy to walk to Clarkson. Continental breakfast of cereal, toast, peanut butter, jelly, bagels, apples and bananas.

Quiet and Clean!

We wanted a quiet weekend away and Potsdam was certainly the place! Pert House was QUIET! It was beautifully re-done, there were plenty of amenities in the kitchen, and it was easy to get in and out of. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, snacks, and drinks. The room was equipped with a desk, couch, coasters, towels, etc. There was a lot of thought put into this spot. It was also super easy to walk to the downtown area for food and shops. There was an IGA directly across the street and a little further past the shops, you could explore the Raquette River area and park.
