Sunset House - veden edessä oleva panoraamaterassi

Casa Sunset vastaa tyypillistä Amalfin rannikon makua, hienoin kalustettu, täynnä kaaria ja lattiat, jotka on koristeltu hienolla keramiikalla. Tyyli on yksinkertainen ja yksinkertainen, mutta samalla kirkas ja miellyttävä. Casa Sunset sijaitsee Praianon länsipuolella, josta on upeat näkymät merelle sekä Kapriin ja Positanoon. Voit nauttia kauniista auringonlaskuista kahdesta terassista.

Talo on järjestetty yhdellä tasolla, ja se muodostuu seuraavasti:

• Pääsy suuren panoraamanäkymän kautta, joka on varustettu BBQ: lla ja ulkopöydällä
• Panoraamaterassi, jossa on puutarha-oleskelutila ja ulkosuihku
• Olohuone - ruokasali, jossa vuodesohva kahdelle ja pöytä kuudelle

Casa Sunset sijaitsee Praianon länsipuolella jalankulkijoiden alueella, muutaman askeleen päässä ravintoloista ja kaupoista. Pääset sinne menemällä alas noin 70 askeleen rampista vuorotellen mukavalla polulla.

Kävelymatkan päässä pääset:

• Monet ravintolat / baarit / pizzeriat
• Paikallinen bussipysäkki ja SITA Amalfille ja Positanolle
• Yksi Fire-rantakerho (20 minuutin kävelymatka)

Pysäköinti on saatavilla pyynnöstä ja maksua vastaan, ja se sijaitsee noin 400 metrin päässä majoituspaikasta. Pysäköinti on mahdollista myös kadulla ilmaiseksi (emme voi taata saatavuutta).

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sunset! The management was extremely responsive and very helpful. The guidebook has tons of useful information on it. We had some difficulty finding the house on when we arrived so perhaps sending guests a map pin to the front door would be more helpful than the video. The house was very comfortable. The view from the porch is as amazing as it looks in the photos. There are 230 steps to get down to the main road so be sure to wear sturdy sneakers but the restaurants in Praiano are worth it. Be sure to check out Miragalli, Km0, and I'll Pino.

Exceptional house with a breathtaking view. Very clean and had everything that our family needed. The host was extremely helpful and always answered our questions and inquiries very quickly. The instructions to get to the house for the check in were clear. Be prepared for a lot of stairs, just like everywhere in this area. The parking was far from the house, but the tenants of the parking were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely go back and we highly recommend this house, as well as the town of Praiano itself.

This was the most beautiful VRBO! We loved its stunning views of Positano and Capri. The inside had beautiful Amalfi decor. Every bedroom had a balcony with a view. We didn’t want to leave!

A few days on the Amalfi Coast

As a last minute extension of our Italy trip we decided to go rest and enjoy the Amalfi Coast. The apartment was absolutely perfect!!! Two terraces overlooking Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms comfortable, clean, a pleasure to be in. The host was Magnificent!!! Helped us with reservations at a beach club - 10 min taxi drive or 25 min walk down to the water. Found the perfect 40ft boat for us to rent and enjoy lunch on Capri. Helped with parking and any questions we had within moments. Thank you so much Franchesco

Grossest place I've stayed in...EVER

Oh, where do I start? Unfortunately this listing is an example of the pictures being way better than the real experience. All of the furniture is old and tired and in need of updating. In fact, the entire flat needs a serious overhaul. Gross bathrooms, chipped tiles everywhere, blankets covering the couches like a frat house. We didn't unpack because we didn't want our clothes touching any of the surfaces in the place. The views are lovely but the furniture is uncomfortable. Also, the terrace outside the bedrooms has great space and views, however, condensation from the air conditioner leaks on to the tiles making it slippery, muddy, and sticky. Totally disgusting. Upon check-in we walked in and all of the shades were down and the AC was off. Not quite the welcoming you'd expect on a 90 degree day. We tried to book another place but were unable to find something since it was high season. Definitely would NOT recommend staying here. One positive note is that the property manager Francesco was very helpful and kind. We took cold showers the first day since no hot water but Francesco sent someone right over to fix the issue. We are both well-traveled and have experienced many different types of places and this was by FAR the worst place we've ever stayed. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book this place!!!

Wonderful stay, beautiful terraces

The manager that we dealt with, Francessco, was the best! He contacted us every day to make sure things were good! If we had a problem he responded immediately. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Town was quiet, quaint, and had everything we needed. Bus service was close by to travel to neighboring amalfi towns. We highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Casa Sunset

Finally made the dream a reality and visited the Amalfi Coast. Casa Sunset in Praiano was the perfect location for our family. The views were spectacular and the apartment was so cute. Loved the flooring, the layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the two outdoor patios were great for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sea. The location was great too. Praiano is a little quieter than some of the other towns but offers everything you could want: great restaurants, grocery, pharmacies, beaches, cafes and bars. It was 225 steps to the main street, but I viewed it as our daily workout (and who comes to Amalfi Coast not expecting stairs??). We enjoyed hiking Path of the Gods and the amazing concert organized there by the tourist office. Finally, can't say enough good things about Francesco and SMAAC. Outstanding service from the moment we booked. Their use of technology was impressive for ease and efficiency like the check-in video but their service always felt personalized which I really appreciated. We have already recommended them to friends and family. Thank you Francesco and the SMAAC team for making our dream trip such a pleasure!

Praiano Rest Week

Absolutely lovely views from this Casa, no matter the weather. We stay in Praiano to avoid tourists crowds in Amalfi & Positano. Francesco was extremely helpful and always responsive to any inquiry, which made the stay even more restful. The numerous steps to & from street level for market, restaurants and bus are not for the weary. We ate several meals at Che Bonta, a family owned restaurant, Giovanna and her husband are a delight. The Casa is a straight shot from the drop off area. SMAAC arranged our round trip driver service from Naples Praiano Naples. I highly recommend this. The recycling is serious and it took me a couple of days to get in a rhythm of what goes in to each bin, but the color coded pdf flyers Francesco provided were extremely helpful. We arrived during a rainy spring season and were grateful for the heating because it was chilly weather. Because the sun didn’t shine much and it was very humid and took about three days for our laundry to dry on the clothes rack, but we were grateful for an on site washing machine! I recommend this lodging and SMAAC. We look forward to a return visit to Praiano! Grazie mille♥️

Beautiful location. Plenty of walking but beautiful location. Be aware that the host will contact you after the stay has begun to request that additional cash be delivered at the property. This is not disclosed in the VRBO quote at time of booking but is later communicated as a required fee.

Spectacular views in a spectacular place!!!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Sunset! The views are unbelievable; the house is adorable and spacious; and Norman our host was SO helpful!! He organized transportation and a boat day for us and helped make my friend’s birthday special. This property is absolutely worth the stairs(in general Praiano has a lot of stairs but that makes it fun)! You get a great workout and makes the views even better :). We hope to come back soon!

Casa Sunset Lives Up to Name

This older flat is comfortable and nicely appointed. The listing does not reveal the many steps to reach it. The property manager seemed to have more properties than he could easily handle and was thus hard to track down. Nonetheless, we would choose Casa Sunset again.

Casa Sunset is Wonderful

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Casa Sunset. The pictures don’t do the beauty of the sunsets justice. We had a great time going down the steps to the market every day and gathering fresh food and wine for a dinner and relaxing evening. The location away from busy Positano in Praiano is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the Amalfi Coast without all the other tourists.

Great place, wonderful view

Everything with the apartment was great. The view is amazing. Only thing to be aware of is the amount of stairs / walking required to get to the place. That is the case no matter where you stay in Praiano though, so not a knit pick about this place in particular. This place does require a 5-10 minute walk with small sets of stairs from where the closest vehicle can park. Overall, we had a great time and loved the place. Would definitely go back!
