A premiere location for your vacation base. Located on Standish Street in the center of Town, you are less than two blocks from Commercial Street , the Wharf and Ferries. This clean and comfortable one bedroom home is on the first floor and faces the rear of the property overlooking the oversized yard. The home has been renovated and includes a full kitchen with granite counters, bathroom with claw tub/shower, and a bedroom complete with a new (2024) beautyrest king bed. The home is well appointed including a 32' HDTV, original artwork throughout, and high thread count linens and towels. There are window Ac's and upgraded lighting.

There is an apple box for TV streaming stations (no basic cable), laundry, & a parking lot with off street parking. All within a 5 minute walk to the Ferry and Downtown.

Outside is a covered private patio as well as a private fenced in yard with a gas grill.

The apartment was the perfect size, clean with nice decor. A king size bed is difficult to come by when looking for a rental. This one happened to be very comfortable.The outside area was a plus with seating for guests. Highly recommend.

The property is well maintained. The only issue I have is the shower curtain in the tub. It needs a liner because it is discolored at the bottom. TV in the bedroom would be nice. TV remote needs new batteries. Very well organized process overall.

So many positive things to say about this place! Such a cute, comfortable home. Location was 2 blocks from Commercial St. Kitchen had anything you might need (sugar for our coffee that we forgot!) Bed was comfy and had all the pillows. The private backyard with grill was the best part for me. Enjoying coffee out there listening to the birds.Also, Vincent we really enjoyed your art work

Cozy apartment in great location

I had a great time staying at Vincent and Gordon's place. The location was perfect, and the apartment and yard were cozy. The check-in and check-out process were also seamless. I would definitely return on a future trip!

Lovely place

Very close walk to everything and yet so quiet and peaceful! Private yard with covered dining, cast iron bathtub, drawers and hangers for clothes, fully equipped kitchen, and colorful art throughout. We had a great stay.

Great little place close to everything

was perfect for me and my wife's anniversary. Walk to town, pilgrim tower, beach, etc. Parking spot right there, clean place and exactly how described. Enjoyed Vincent's own art work on the walls too. Would stay again 5 stars.

This little apartment can be so wonderful if only the details were tended to. For instance- kitchen table is unusable do to the height of the chairs,bathroom window is broken and bath mats slide when you step on them,the living room outside door screen is torn and chandelier has 2 bulbs out and the bedroom closet door is broken ( hard to open and close). Also there is not adequate space for clothing ( absolutely no drawers) . Overall we weren’t really comfortable here and left a day early.

No king bed,noisy neighbors/dog,cleanliness issues and loud a/c ruined the stay.

Firstly the information listed in the "About this rental" description is inaccurate. It states"a bedroom complete with a Pillow Top KING Bed." I took a screenshot to confirm this information on the title page. As well rated long term renters with VRBO,we choose this particular property over several others because of the bed size.It is in fact a queen.In addition,the bedroom air conditioner is noisy and directly above the head of the bed. It was so loud we could not use it because of the noise and forced air directly on my face. The air conditioner in the main room was better, but did not cool the bedroom. Another issue was cleanliness.There was a layer of grease on the microwave and stove.The inside of the microwave was also spotty. The clear glass dishes were very scratched and glasses were full of fingerprints.Silverware had dried food on it.I spent the several hours cleaning various surfaces,including the outdoor table which was black with dirt, and chairs full of dog hair. The fiberboard toilet seat broke the first day. We replaced it with a $40quality one.The neighbors in the upstairs unit were noisy and their dog barked incessantly every time we sat outside.Kitchen chairs were uncomfortable slope back tall bar stools,unusable for the traditional lower height table. Apple TV was worn out and hard to use.Sidewalk exit is dangerous.Can't see what's coming. These issues outweighed all positives. Unfortunate as there are many great amenities and best location at this rental.
