Wow what a gem to stay at! Last minute Black Friday decision to get way for New Years and we made the right choice! Restaurants were great America, hostess, made sure we could always get a table. Norma was a most exquisite waitress. And Jose at poolside bar never let your drinks run dry or your appetite linger without asking if you were ready for more. To round it off, Saul was alway around as any tireless piece working like magic from the background and threw one heck of a NYE Party. Thank you all for your service with a smile and making this a very memorable stay.

Overall the stay was wonderful. Pros… - Great beach with swimmable area. - We stayed in an Enclave Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. We were even under the Martini Lounge and other than a few scraping noises didn’t hear a thing. Even on karaoke night. - Food was good. Only place I didn’t like was the Sushi place. Lot of the rolls had cream cheese in them and I am not a big fan. - Staff was good. They work hard. Cons… - Adult pool was awkward. The chairs facing the oceans are hard to get to. There is a small pool with a fountain besides the main pool and it serves no purpose. - Lot of kids. If you have kids it’s great but trying to have a romantic dinner with kids screaming in the background wasn’t for me. - The beach is so great and not private so it can get a little crowded on the weekends.

Room 132 had a horrible smell in it. They changed the air filter which help a bit but it still smelled bad. The management staff was not helpful at all. They either replied no or said ok to problems and did nothing. We were told previsit requests were not received and we had return confirmations from them. Yet they denied it. The food was fair. Reservations are not possible unless you have higher Hilton status.

I booked this reservation about six months ago. When I made the reservation, I had asked for a cots in my room and they confirmed it. Even a few days before I checked in they sent me a note to welcome me and also confirmed my reservation and details at that time. When I got to the hotel, they told me they did not have any cots and that there would be a waitlist for it. The first meal I had, I found a piece of plastic in my food. It looked like a wrapper. Also booking a reservation for a restaurant is nearly impossible! Their system is so silly. The resort was clean and the staff were friendly. I did not have the best experience and I have been to many resorts in Mexico. This is why I would not return to.

The location was beautiful!! It took a a minute to get use to how to access some of the amenities but by day two we figured it out. Staff was great. Room service took longer than expected.

Room was horrible condition. Old and scratched furnitures. Had the name of Hilton but not the quality whatsoever. Staff was rude and slow. Catered to more of their own people and color of choice. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with everything. Food was always cold and never severed in a timely fashion. Every dinner we went to took over two hours because staff was short and overwhelmed. Appetizers like soup and salad would take over 30 minutes to be brought. Would never recommend this to resort to anyone. I am also very disappointed in Expedia’s rating of this resort and giving it a four star. Headquarters of Expedia need to send more qualified individuals to evaluate the properties and give it the correct ratings that they deserve. I have been a valuable customer of Expedia for over two decades and was not expecting this type of property for a four star rating nor recommendation.
