Love the heated pool. Hated there aren’t enough chairs for everyone. People lined up at 6:30am to try and get a lounge chair to use ( unacceptable). Stayed in room 133 highly recommend it. Great beachfront view.

The resort is small but that was okay. Not near enough lounge chairs. We asked one of the staff by the adult pool if we could put our towels on lounge chairs and go for breakfast. They said it was fine. When we returned our things were gone, and everything was taken to the lobby. We had a small speaker playing music in the adult pool area and a staff member came over and said we had to turn it off, no music allowed. If you want a chair out on the beach you will have to get up and go save it at 6:30 in the morning because there are so few chairs. (They do allow you to save chairs on the beach) This is a resort I will not return to.

Great location! Amenities are perfect! Staff is amazing especially David Pina, the bartender! Too many people trying to rope you into time-share/vacation club presentations. Food is boring. It is the same thing every day, with little to no variation in how it is prepared.

We was given the wrong room and didn’t get what we paid for and would change us to the room bought. It was booked 7 months ahead of time. Mold on towel racks,floors,ac and vents as well as the pool furniture. We were fed food that we are allergic to twice and it cause delays in the trip. They didn’t offer anything to make it right. Very limited dinner reservation and don’t know they had to be made until the third day.

We spent 6 days in Las Palmas by the sea. It's a nice hotel overall. It's cozy and family friendly. It's very clean and the staff are amazing. It has an amazing view of the ocean that looks marvelous during the sunset. It was really close to downtown as well (45min walk) It might not be your taste if you're looking for luxury.The food is fair. It's not super high quality but it was good enough for the price. Even though the hotel was sold out it wasn't too crowded There was always plenty of space at the beach, pool and at the dining area. They have some sort of entertainment every afternoon (for kids) and every night but they don't have a separate room for it so it gets very loud. If you like to go to bed early, that might be a problem for you. Also, restaurants are not included with the all inclusive deal and there isn't any gym or exercise room. But generally speaking we really enjoyed our stay.

This is a small boutique style resort. It was very quaint and clean and the staff were lovely. Reminds me of an old Hilton or something of that nature. The type of place that regulars would come back to every year. It is typical food for a 3.5 star which is perfectly fine with us. Expect local cuisine. The entertainment was fun each night and everything is packed up and quiet by 10 :). Clean and very close to walkable areas and the bus.

Relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Las Palmas. Our ocean view room was great. Lots of hot water in the shower and bottled water replaced daily. Food was adequate in the buffet. There was always something that appealed to both if us. The 2 a la cartes were good as well.

If you want to truly see Mexico, this is a fabulous resort. It’s very simple and clean and very genuine. This is not inundated with a bunch of people from Canada or USA, but this is where the Mexicans come as well. There is no swim up bar or a disco tech, but we enjoyed it because it was very nice and clean. Everything was kind of shut down by 11 o’clock every night, which is good for people like me who wanted to go to relax in the beautiful sun.

We loved the resort. There were 2 (sometimes alternating between Mexican or Italian) a la carte restaurants. The Tuesday night sunset dinners were fabulous! My only concern would be if there was cooler/rainy weather for eating in the beautiful open air restaurants (the only one that would be open is the main one under a large palapa). The buffet meals were ok but not great. Some of the evening entertainment was excellent but some was not. We would have appreciated more music to dance to. We also loved the beach and ocean there.

The property is really starting to show its age. My door had quite a gap and the hallway light showed through. The air conditioner was very noisy if on the wrong setting and I had to run the water for at least five minutes before I would get any heat. The staff were very nice and helpful and a few additions since my last stay such as the pancake waffle station is a nice addition.

Thanks to the hostess Alfredo, he was very helpful and very nice, he answered all our Questions and concern and made ouy stay there very smooth, the only con was the bathrooms gets very hot due to all glass windows, the Sun shines directly at windows and air conditioner did not helped.
