Everything’s was good. Only problem is that we had a issue with our dryers not working so we have to rely on housekeeping to dry the clothes for us but other than that it’s a 8/10. I’ll come back again.

15 minute drive to the airport and blue mall. It has a nice pool, friendly staff, and no children. It’s quiet during the day, but it gets loud at night because Coco Bonggo is nearby. Nice view of the fireworks at night. Private parking is available and a security guard is present.

I had a terrible experience at Faranda hotel. I almost got robbed by a local and the staff made it seem as if it was my faul. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. They even tried suggesting I go to another hotel for the night. Someone barged in my room and refused to get out when asked to leave. The situation could’ve been handled a lot better in my opinion. That being said, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I felt hopeless and scared for my life. Thank goodness I had a villa booked with family for the rest of my stay. But I will never travel out the country a day before my family arrives ever again. That was a huge mistake on my part. But I would’ve appreciated if the staff did better at resolving the problem. I believe his name was Francisco. If so, do better Francisco. This was my first time ever visiting the DR. And my first day was a complete disaster. I had to scream for help, and I felt alone and scared for my life. Very traumatic experience. Suggesting I should leave and book another hotel bc someone refused to leave my room was very shocking. Especially seeing the fact that he tried ROBBING ME! That being said, everyone, do yourself a huge favor and don’t book here. Unless you’re fully armed and ready for battle. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life and I’m just grateful to be able to even be writing this. Barricading my self I. My hotel room was not on my agenda of things to do while visiting the DR. 0.4/10 stars.

Booked three nights at this hotel but we had to leave after one night. This is located approximately 15 miles from the beach. It’s located right on a main highway with a lot of road noise all night long. It’s also located one block away from Cocoa Bongo, which has the loudest club music playing and spotlights going until very late at night, maybe three or 4 o’clock in the morning. This property is also surrounded on every side by new construction being done, so starting at 7 o’clock in the morning there is hammering and banging and saws running etc. The room itself was spotless and very modern and a very nice hotel, if it were located away from all of the noise and near the beach it would’ve certainly been a 4 1/2 or five stars.

There is a lot of work that needs to done to this Hotel. The electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom and kitchen. I had problems with getting new towels daily. You have to be really careful if driving in there parking lot the curbs are built to high. I scrapped the bottom of my rental car trying to turn out of the parking lot. I also, watched others encounter the same problem with the high curbs. Their breakfast menu is limited. They only serve bacon and eggs. No other options for breakfast. The food takes forever to receive after you order. They have a very small kitchen so be prepare to way awhile for your meal.

Loved the hotel it was in a new condition, very clean, everyone was nice, the room was really spacious, the pool area was really nice the only thing it’s by a Main Street so you’ll hear a lot of honking while out at the pool. Also the area around the hotel is under construction but I would definitely stay again I felt very safe.

It is a nice new hotel and staff are friendly. Big room with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Good breakfast and dinner. The location is a super busy intersection so quite noisy all the time. Nice pool and a nice living room shared area for guests. Sofa and bathroom not completely clean. Bathroom hook was loose.
