This is my second time at this hotel and I stayed almost 2 weeks. It’s safe and is kept clean. The night shows are entertaining as well as the Beach Party. The only down side, which I have already mentioned to the hotel last year, but I haven’t seen any improvement in that area this year, is the fact that they cook too many foods with “cooking
wine”, which many people cannot consume. I wrote about this issue in last year’s review, and honestly, it has gotten worse. Just an example, there is no need to cook Paella with wine, even the Spaniards who invented it, don’t do that !!
Yes, there are several options of foods, but at
the same time, wine is present in too many of
them, much more than last year. That is not the case in many other hotels I have been to in Punta Cana.
I’ll give this hotel one more opportunity to adjust the “wine in most foods” situation and I’ll go back again, but if the problem persists, it’ll be my 3rd and last time. Visiting the DR would be better in winter time in the future, because with the seaweeds’ problem, it’s impossible to swim in the Caribbean Sea in the summer. Unfortunately , global warming has ruined many beaches, not only in the DR, but also in many other parts of the world.
