Our room had frayed, stained carpets and dirty walls. The common areas were similar. The bar and restaurant facilities listed on their website refer to a noisy cafe downstairs. We had dinner and breakfast in the much nicer holiday inn next door. For NZD 333.00 I expect better. We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, only positive for us was the proximity to the airport.

The property is situated in a fantastic location, offering easy access to various adventure destinations. Our room was cozy, though it showed some signs of wear and tear, and it met our daily needs. However, the staff's communication skills were lacking, and they didn't provide any assistance in helping guests find solutions to their issues. We discovered that parking in the area shared by the two hotels and the library can result in fines from the council, a detail that was not mentioned by the hotel staff during check-in. A heads-up for everyone: if you're driving, parking on-site is quite limited. 1. There are no block plans or information provided by the hotel regarding parking availability. 2. The underground parking operates on a first-come, first-served basis, which is fine, but if there's an event like the NZ Golf tournament during your stay, parking spaces become scarce as they prioritize guests attending the event. 3. There is a parking station next door that offers 2 hours of free parking, followed by a flat rate for the entire day. Overall, this is our second stay at this hotel, and while it is a very good place, the lack of competent staff does leave a negative impression. We will return

Close to the airport, however quite a distance from Queenstown itself. The main entrance was confusing and not well sign posted, looked like a restaurant entrance. Staff were friendly and they have private sheltered parking underground (however I didn’t know this until I had paid for public parking next to the hotel). Sadly, brown stain on curtain, marks in the walls, a heat pump that squealed when in use, and the clothes drier was super loud that it couldn’t not be used a night.

Leaving bread trays stacked on entry not a good coming to reception. More finesse at reception. Felt iike you were disturbing there afternoon. Not very good customer service. Have stayed at this establishment a number of times. Shocked at the non service.

Property was good. Nice and quiet. The rooms were a little disappointing. The second floor had a very unusual smell that was not favorable. When we walked into our room the smell Intensified. We thought it would air out over the course of our stay. After the second day it was complete unbearable. It smelled like someone had cooked fish and left it in the sink or something. We brought it up to house keeping and the front desk and the said they would see what they could do. But nothing ever got done to our knowledge. The shower head was broken and spilled out the side. The washer and dryer were having problems the bathroom fan stopped working. The carpets in the halls had big stains. The restaurant in the lobby was amazing and the parking garage was super safe. You need to have a room key to access the garage so it kept my mind at ease. All in all the staff were very friendly, and tried to be helpful. But the smell was pretty bad.

Comfortable & clean

Overall comfortable stay - pillows not great but the room was quite large with bonus of washer and dryer in bathroom. Staff were nice. Parking is limited but we were lucky enough to get a park - parking was free
