Tervetuloa paratiisiin! TÀmÀ hiljattain uusittu koti sijaitsee Manuel Antonion Pacific Canyon Roadilla yksityisen umpikujaan. Se sijaitsee yksityisessÀ yhteisössÀ, jonka turvapalveluhenkilöstö on pimeÀssÀ ja pimeÀssÀ. Olet kÀvelymatkan pÀÀssÀ lukuisista ravintoloista, kahviloista, kahviloista ja viehÀttÀvistÀ pienistÀ ostospaikoista.

TÀmÀ koti ympÀröi rehevÀÀ ympÀröivÀÀ viidakkoa, ja siellÀ on uskomattomat nÀkymÀt merelle ja viidakkoÀÀnet. Jos haluat nÀhdÀ apinoita oleskellessasi Costa Ricassa, löysit oikean paikan. TÀmÀn talon nimi "Casa Mono Congo" tarkoittaa "Apinoiden talo". Laatat, apinat ja linnut ympÀröivÀt tÀmÀn kodin maisemaa. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on nÀkymÀt viidakolle ja merelle sekÀ oma hiljattain remontoitu kylpyhuone. TÀmÀ pieni siivu viidakon taivasta on todella paratiisi, josta on nÀkymÀ! Casa Mono Congon viileÀt valtameren tuulet leviÀvÀt yleisesti valtameren palmupuiden ja kotoperÀisen Costa Rican kasvillisuuden yli.
MerinÀköala jÀttÀÀ sinut sanattomaksi, kun astut kotiin ja katsot altaan yli! Avoin olohuone virtaa tilavaan laatoitettuun uima-altaan reunaan viidakon kankaalle, joka nÀyttÀÀ suoraan merelle. Kansi on itsessÀÀn viidakon leikkipaikka. ViihtyisÀt lepotuolit, jotka työskentelevÀt ruskettasi, patio-katto, jos haluat rentoutua varjossa, ulkona oleskelualue keskustelua varten tai nauttia suosikkijuomastasi katsellen auringonlaskua valtameren horisontin yli. Casa Mono Congossa on neljÀ hiljattain uusittua makuuhuonetta, joissa kaikissa on yksilöllinen ilmastointijÀrjestelmÀ ja kylpyhuone. Mestarissa on king-vuode, ja muissa kolmessa makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuoteet. LisÀvuoteita lapsille on saatavilla pyynnöstÀsi. Jokainen sÀnky ja patja ostettiin hiljattain kevÀÀllÀ 2019, samoin kuin suurin osa kodin huonekaluista. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on myös ÀlykÀs TV.

Keittiö on tÀysin varustettu kÀytettÀvÀksi. Se on korotettu baari vieraille istua tai syödÀ ja ruostumattomasta terÀksestÀ laitteet. Jos et halua kokata lomallasi, voit jÀrjestÀÀ kotikokin. On ylimmÀn tason katettu kannella on oma baarikeittiö ja kylpyhuone, jossa on paras nÀkymÀ ja ÀÀnet Manuel Antonio!

Casa Mono Congo on bi-funktionaalisesti vihreÀ, jossa on tuuli- ja aurinkovoima. Se on varustettu liikuntarajoitteisille henkilöille, joilla on pÀÀsy ramppi, 1. kerroksen makuuhuone ja kylpyhuone.

What a fabulous Villa !

This Villa was the best. We were three couples and had plenty of room. The pool was awesome and the sitting area was huge and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive as well as the concierge. Maria was fabulous and any questions we had. She was always quick to help us out. The housekeeping was also a plus. We had lots of visits from the local monkeys. Would absolutely recommend this Villa to anyone who just wants to enjoy being out in the wild but with all the luxuries

My expectations were blown away

The pictures of this home do not do it justice - I was speechless when Maria let us in the front door. The view of the pool overlooking the jungle overlooking the Pacific is STUNNING. The house was clean and had every amenity we could ask for. The house itself doesn't have AC, but the bedrooms do and stayed plenty cold. The house is in the middle of the forest, and you feel like you are staying in a huge glass treehouse. We saw monkeys, beautiful birds, and other wildlife daily. I will say this house might not be the best for young children as there is a steep drop off the deck, and the railing might allow toddlers/young children to slip through. The house manager/concierge Maria is OUTSTANDING. Her service was impeccable, and she booked us on outstanding outings. She made everything super easy and seamless. We will be back!

Beautiful Casa Mono Congo

If you’re like us and you’re visiting CR to observe wildlife this property is a great choice. From the comfort of the pool we were entertained daily by three types of monkeys. With a little time and effort we saw many birds including hummingbirds, toucans and macaws. Lots of geckos, a red-eyed tree frog and even a pigmy boa. If you prefer to have a barrier between you and the wildlife the house has many huge windows overlooking the jungle. The house is very attractive, clean and close to everything. More than enough space and privacy for a couple of families/couples. The overall process regarding check-in, staff and check out was professional and well organized. **There is a very steep hill leading down to the parking area. If you have a van for transportation to & from the airport or excursions they will not come down the hill as there is no room for a larger vehicle to turn around. We had a rental car so we transferred our luggage from the van to the car and then drove down the hill. For excursion pick up we walked up the hill to meet the van. So plan accordingly. I’m writing this review from the pool/patio area which is also very spacious and the view is outstanding! I highly recommend this property and would love to come back!

Monkey House Fun

The space was excellent for all. The pool was fun and the monkeys and a sloth were regular visitors so we had to be vigilant of the outdoor space. We used a private chef for one dinner and it was over the top excellent. The concierge Maria made excellent arrangements for our transportation (highly recommend Willie who did almost all of our transportation from airport, La Fortuna and Monteverde.) Having someone to clean and do laundry left us more time to enjoy Costa Rica.

Great vacation!

10 of us just finished an awesome vacation at this residence! Stayed for 8 days. Location was for excursions and beach. Great restaurants nearby and we did have a chef come in for 2 dinners who cooked awesome meals. All of the house staff were great and helped with anything we needed. We had all 3 types of monkeys stop by for daily visits and saw many birds from the balconies. I would recommend this house to anyone. The only advice I would give is to rent a 6 cylinder 4x4 for driving in the area.

Beautiful place in Quepos

This place was perfect for our family of 8 adults and one 4-year-old child.One of our group uses a wheelchair and although the driveway was very steep, we could park at the bottom and roll a smooth sidewalk to the place. The home is very large with big spaces between large pieces of furniture, meaning my husband could transfer to a comfortable chair or find easy space for his wheelchair. The main floor master bedroom (and all other bedrooms) connected to a shower large enough to wheel his chair in for showering. The layout was perfect for small groups, large meals and bedroom privacy. Our concierge, Maria, was very attentive without being smothering. Mariela did wonderful daily cleaning. We loved the place and would stay again Caveat -- the pool is not enclosed and the stair rails have large gaps. Our four-year-old was no problem, but this access should be taken into account with "wilder" children. Chef Marco and his assistant Laura prepared a wonderful welcome dinner for us!

Wonderful Stay

The front patio of Casa Mono Congo was a show-stopper with its amazing view of the ocean and lush jungle from the patio pool, which we spent a lot of time in just enjoying the view. The communication with Maria was so helpful as she was able to secure reservations for us, including a chef who made us an amazing dinner. We were able to enjoy the outdoors in the main living area while cooling down with the air conditioned bedrooms at night. The maid and laundry service was wonderful. The monkeys were a sight to see as they came to visit every day. We even saw a toucan and a pair of macaws flying overhead. Really an amazing place to stay!

The concierge was incredible! Maria was always helpful and responsive to any of our needs. Cannot say enough about her! The house was perfect for our vacation. The only complaint Is that we scheduled ourselves too much to just take a day to relax at the house. Next time we will not make the same mistake.

Amazing view and lots of wildlife!

Casa Mano Congo was an amazing place to stay. It was very clean. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Best of all, the view was amazing and every day we saw lots of wildlife right from our poolside deck. There were monkeys, sloths, and toucans daily. The daily maid service was great as well as the chef. We would definitely come back.

Welcome to the Jungle

We loved the location of this home. It was far enough in the jungle that we saw daily sightings of monkeys, sloths, toucans, macaws, and more but close enough you could walk to the stores, restaurants, etc. The views are truly amazing! I wouldn't define the decor as modern but comfortable. Each bedroom had its own air conditioning unit and smart TV and the beds and linens are very comfortable. We loved our housekeeper, Mayella. She was so kind and came daily to tidy up the house and even did our wash for us. I saw some comments on the driveway. Is it steep? Yes, but we didn't find it a deterrent. We loved our visit and would certainly return!

Amazing views!

Everything you want in an ocean view house, in the rainforest, is here. If had to say one negative thing... it would be that we did not want to leave. Ever. Host was great, driveway was steep but not so bad for Costa Rica:)), the chef that cooked for us was amazing.

We absolutely loved this house. It was beautiful inside and out. We loved hanging out on the porches and each room was so nice. It was a walk away from a lot of restaurants which was also night. You will see monkeys
.lots of them
everywhere. It was kind of shocking and at times a little freaky. They didn’t bother us, but the howler monkeys are quite loud in the trees and the white faced monkeys like to play on the roof. Although disturbing sleep, it was such a cool experience that I would do it again.

Incredible week at Casa Mono Congo!!

My family, including our two college aged kids and their godfather spent an incredible week at Casa Mono Congo! I can’t speak highly enough of our stay. It truly is the monkey house
be prepared for that! We were visited by all 3 varieties
.at least once and sometimes twice a day. Outside of Mother Nature though, the house and staff were top notch as well! The concierge addressed all of our needs and wants. We booked a chef, transports came to the house, laundry was done daily and the house was kept pristine. We would definitely book there again. The hill down to the house is a doozy
.but not as much a doozy as walking back up it. Be prepared for that too. We had air conditioned bedrooms and plenty of space. The views were breathtaking! The house is close enough to walk to many many dining establishments in the area. We even walked all the way to Manuel Antonio NP one day. (Took a taxi back 😉) We will see Casa Mono Congo again! Counting the days!!

Pura Vida at its best!

Our stay at Casa Mono Congo was absolutely incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. The pictures of this property do not do it justice, we were in awe as soon as we walked up to the property and saw the stunning views. Monkeys, toucans, parrots and iguanas were all visible as we hung out in the pool and watched the incredible sunsets each night. The concierge took care of everything we could possibly need including getting groceries ordered and delivered within the hour, ordering and delivering dinner to our house one night and giving the housekeeper special instructions on how we wanted our clothes washed and hand dried. We also hired the chef for 3 of our meals during our stay and they were 3 of the most delicious meals we had during our entire 3 week trip (we stayed here for 4 days and wished we had stayed longer). The meals were also very affordable for our large group. There is not a doubt in any of our minds that we will stay at this property again on our next trip to Costa Rica!

Gorgeous view

Very roomy house with an amazing view. Plenty of space to gather or have quiet time. All kinds of wildlife right at your back door. Hike up the hill is quite a workout.

House was amazing!!

Jody was extremely helpful in helping make our time at Casa Congo Mongo one we will always remember. His staff was fantastic and catered to all of our needs. The house was beautiful and clean with breathtaking views. His chef prepared the best food we ate during our time in Costa Rica! We will definitely return!

Great Destination

The ocean views from all rooms are absolutely amazing. Not only are you close to the ocean, you get the best of both worlds because the house is located in the jungle which allows for close up views of monkeys, toucans, parrot and lizards. The location is perfect and within walking distance of many great restaurants and and shops. The house is newly renovated and very clean. The pool and deck are great for entertainment and outdoor relaxation. Jody and his staff are great to work with as they are very knowledgeable about the area and accommodating to what you need and excursions you would like to do. We will definitely book here again!

Gorgeous house with amazing views!

We stayed at Mono Congo in April and it is absolutely breathtaking. The staff were amazing and the house is immaculate. We would spend hours sitting by the pool and admiring the spectacular ocean view. We were witness to many different types of animals that are common including monkeys, toucans, lizards, and many birds. The decor of the house is very welcoming and there are smart tvs in every room. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very helpful since we were traveling with several other couples. There are many activities and restaurants near the house including the Manuel Antonio National Park. If we didn't want to walk to our destination, a cab was available at any time of day. We cannot wait to visit Mono Congo again!
