No hot tub

There were 6 cop cara outside as we walked up which definitely made us question our choice of hotel. But we booked this specific hotel as it was the only one in the area with a hot tub. Imagine my disappointment when we check in and find out they got rid of the hot tub about a year ago. The cops stayed for a couple hours but assured us it was an isolated incident that was taken care of. There were a million kids at the pool and no chairs available, and when we came back exhausted at night there was continued loud groups of people moving thru the hallways until midnight.

The wallpapers in room was peeling off, the headboards were dirty and stained. The hotel room had flat tv from early 2000s, when I asked if any other room had smart tv so I could be switched the hotel had none. The ceilings were stained, the bathroom did not have shampoo, conditioner, body lotion dispensers like other hilton hotels I am used to staying in and I travel often for work and leisure. The services at the restaurant were not great either as the waitresses were not attentive to filling coffee or acknowledged we were needing refills or our plates picked up when we sought further food at buffet. I am definitely not staying here again.

My wife and I were really looking forward to a rare night away together — we both work hard and don’t often get the chance to take time for ourselves. Unfortunately, this hotel completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. When we arrived, we found mold on the walls, cracks in the drywall, and bubbling in the ceiling. There was a strong sewage-like smell throughout parts of the building, and the elevator was so loud it kept us up at night. On top of that, the cable/satellite TV didn’t work at all, and we were hit with a $75/day incidental hold, which felt ridiculous given the state of the place. We would’ve left immediately, but we had a concert to attend two hours after check-in, and there just wasn’t time to find another hotel. So we were stuck — and incredibly disappointed. Save your money and your sanity. This hotel needs serious repairs and better management before it’s worth considering.
