This resort is tired and needs some refurbishment. The rooms had mould around some of the windows and caked dirt in some corners. The paint work needed some work.The meal we ordered was caked in mayo and the fish was dry and inedible. I was disappointed to be fair. It is a good location but needs some work to live up to other resorts on the main island. Won't be back.

The male staff while dining were really nice but some of the lady’s was a bit snobby. The room itself was quite nice but the toilet paper holder was broken. The housekeeping people were extremely friendly and nice, always saying goodmorning/ Kia orana. The resort it self is really nice and would definitely stay here again

A Consistently Wonderful Stay at The Edgewater Resort We’ve just returned from our fourth stay at The Edgewater Resort, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, while makes you feel safe and comfortable during your stay, which is always a top priority for us. The facilities here truly have everything you need for a memorable holiday. There’s no shortage of activities to enjoy at the resort and around the island (which the resort will help you to book), whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure. There's a kids' club for he under 12 year olds that offer fun activities for them to do. We can’t recommend The Edgewater Resort enough! Whether it’s your first visit or your fourth like ours, you’re guaranteed to have an amazing experience.

This was a near perfect trip. The hotel itself is comfortable but not fancy, perfect for a relaxed island break. Being able to swim in the ocean, snorkel immediately outside the resort on the marine reserve/coral, make use of the pool etc so easily makes it a great base. The facilities are good, as is the service. The couple of minor issues I had were well handled. The resort is well located and easy to travel around the island from using the local bus. My suggestions for improvement are to rethink the bathrooms as the shower sprays much more widely than the screen catches, and to consider fans in key outdoor areas (balconies, outdoor covered part of the restaurant, and also in the lobby). Special thanks to Rosa at the spa who is incredible- the hour long massage took 18 months of stress out of my muscles

The location was good. Lunch/Dinner facing the reef which was pretty. Overall not up to my standards. Prefer 5 Star accommodation. I am not young so don't appreciate noisy children at my age. There was no complimentary water in our room. The luggage guys were very pleasant and helpful. It was a shame breakfast was included but because of an early flight we had breakfast to take with us which was pretty standard. Sorry nowhere the standard of the Pacific Resort Aitutaki.
