Restaurant and pool have been under renovation for some time. The continental breakfast provided was frozen. Our 1st room the toilet was plugged waited for about 2 hrs. Was handed 2 different plungers in that time to look after a toilet that was already plugged when we checked in. Finally sent another cleaning person who glushed the toilet in already full toilet of water so it overflowed. She used the towels to mop up the water (disgusting). On top of that these were towels we had to request as there was 1 towel in the room for 3 of us to use. We were finally given another room. The new room we had to request more towels as only 1 towel in the room no face cloths hand towels. The newly brought stuff a face cloth still had a foundation stain on it. The sheeting had stains on them towels had stains on them. Saturday and Sunday no one came to clean the rooms our room cards kept being deactivated. Garbage and towel replacement never done. We had to ask for toilet paper. The room phone did not work. Overall this was a horrible hotel to stay at. DO NOT STAY HERE pay the extra hundred to stay elsewhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!! P.S. apparently we are not to flush toilet paper down the toilet as per the cleaning person said meanwhile the toilet was already plugged before we got to room & reason why our room keys kept being deactivated was because we had them near our cellphones

Renovations shutting down services

Went with a colleague for two nights for business. The pool was being renovated, didn’t know that. Gym equipment was shoved into a small corner room with no ventilation or natural light and it was grubby. Breakfast room was being renovated so the hot breakfast was continental. I could deal with that but it was open totes of pastry and bags of bagels. No decent fruit, no coffee machine, only butter, peanut butter and strawberry jam. The ‘breakfast” room was messy and the garbage can overflowing even early at 6:30am when we were there. Tables not wiped. No option for decaf coffee in the room and even when I asked at the desk. Often there was no one at the front desk. Not sure if the room cleaning is everyday as some places are not anymore but our room was not made up the day we were out. No face cloths and not enough towels. So. Wait until the renovations are done before booking there. Call the hotel before you book to see what is available.

The room was nice and newly updated. The tv was huge and the bed was comfy. It was a bit weird that there wasn't a fitted sheet on the mattress, just a sheet. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be. There was a used towel left on the back of the door from the previous occupants. The bottom of the toilet looked like it hasn't been wiped in awhile as there was yellow stains and hair. The complimentary breakfast was muffins, pastries, toast and cereal. I usually prefer a hot breakfast. The staff were friendly when we checked in and out.

The renovations that they had completed were nice, but the room was dirty. The walls were dirty, the tub didnt drain properly and the extra lock on the door didnt work and we were missing screws in the door jam, causing the mechanism to make a hole in the wall

There was no garbage pail in our room, no big deal we asked and they brought us one. Didn’t check our room at all during our stay to refresh coffee, remove garbage etc. They also saw on the reservation there were 3 people staying in the room but only supplied one wash cloth and two towels, so we had to ask for more of those. The price I booked through Expedia was not the price I was charged and got charged a little over the Expedia price. Lastly there was a terrible smell in the hallway and an almost nauseating smell in the elevator. The rooms were clean however and the front staff were polite.

This property is an old building in the process of being renovated. At the time of our stay, the kitchen and the pool were closed for renos. During our first stay, the room was clean and fresh, however the shower leaked badly all over the very slick bathroom floor. Breakfast options were limited to pastries and cereal. Coffee was fine. Some staff members seemed to feel like they needed the elevator more than clients which was problematic considering the amount of luggage we needed to move and the lack of other options. During our second stay, the first room that we were assigned had been cleaned, but the washroom had urine on her floor and it appeared someone had attempted to wipe their mess off the toilet seat, leaving
