This was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. When I arrived at the hotel I discovered that one of the other front desk staff had checked in someone under my reservation. This meant that I did not get the room I had paid for, and extended the check in time considerably. Then, upon reaching my room, I found that I had been assigned an unclean room (beds were not made, food crumbs all over the table, etc). I was then subsequently moved to a different room, after a call with the front desk. While the staff were apologetic about both the 40 minute check-in disaster and the unclean room they originally switched me into: this does not negate the fact that this was the least impressed I have been with a hotel, especially given the price I paid.

The property had to elevators and the room was on the second floor. Having a small kid with me (which come with a lot of luggage), it was very inconvenient for us to take all of the stuff to the second floor without an elevator in the building. The hotel staff should atleast be mindful of these things while allotting rooms.

The person who checked me in was so nice... don't like the stairs and how to get in and out of the place..no view at all....the pool and hot tub is very badly maintained never seen a dirty pool or hot tub like this one in other places I stayed.. will not book this hotel again

Fine for a 1 night stop over

This was a 1 night stop over for us. The hotels image of the reception i would say is quite misleading. This gives a sense of a newish modern space where it is essentially a 2 block motel. The block we were in had a pool which was closed although the other one i do believe was open. The hotel provided what we needed which was a value stop as we headed west across canada.

The hotel smells really bad; like a mixture of old cigarette smoke and dirty carpets. The room was very dark, with a window to the poorly illuminated, out of order, empty, pool. Location wise, it’s on the outskirts of the town, not within walking distance to the centre. Some sketchy people walking around. The guy at reception was great and deserves 5 stars for service and friendliness though.

Amazing location. A bit pricey for. 3 star hotel. Excellent customer service. Although the room was clean, fruit flies are everywhere in the room. Freezer need to be defrosted and stove needs to be replaced too old. We did not use the stove though.
