Rooms were terrible. Thermostat broken in both rooms. Wanted us to move to a different room with our young kids at 9pm. Only stayed because we had to. Slow elevators. There were lots of teens/youth socializing in the parking lot after dark. Everything smelled bad

I chose to book this Embassy Suites because I loved my stay at some of their other locations. We did have an issue as soon as we got into our room, the front desk was very polite and accommodating and gave us a new room right away so the issue could be addressed. This specific hotel location, the rooms are out dated and need new furniture and some sprucing up. I did like our stay. The hotel staff and the accommodations like the hot breakfast are great. My family did enjoy the complimentary evening reception/ social hour( drinks (2) and snacks). We ended up ordering dinner there at the time and the food was great. It was a nice way to decompress in the evening.

Used to love Embassy in Richmond. The last two times we have stayed there were roaches. The wallpaper is peeling and cracks. The atrium is beautiful but it has lost its appeal with such bad rooms. The day they will take care of the roach problem but that was said the last time. And now we have to pay a $10 fee to park when we are staying there. I won’t be going back.
