Elevator and lighting issues

The elevator (1of 2) was out of order and on occasion, the only one working sounded over loaded and was “jumpy”. The lighting in the bathroom was insufficient and we’re asked by staff to move a floor lamp from the bedroom into the bathroom when more light was necessary. Otherwise, all was good

Very disappointed. I paid full price to stay in a hotel that was completely being remodeled. Dust, dirt, construction everywhere. There was no breakfast, even though it was advertised and they said there would be. There was a homeless man sleeping in the downstairs “what used to be their dining area”. The cover to the AC unit was laying on the floor when we returned from an outing. The toilet ran all day and all night. There was no mention of the hotel being under complete construction and the nightly full rate of almost $200 was charged. We expected to use the pool and gym….not even sure those exist currently. I am sure this will be a beautiful hotel, when the construction is complete, but currently….it is a wreck and full price is ridiculous.

While the room was spacious and clean, the lighting was just fair. The hotel is doing renovations so it was noisy, even at 7:00am on Saturday morning. Lobby was nice but entrance and elevator messy with construction dust.

Location of property and room is great, but when I arrive, there is a major construction project being done on the property from the main floor to 3rd or 4 flr. I was disappointed because there is no mention about construction on Expedia about it.. Elevators are being occupied by the construction work as well to get to your room.. Once you get pass that, the room great.. If I would have know of this, I might have stayed at a different location for the money spent per night.

Nice rooms but no toiletries.

The room was clean. There were renovations going on on the 4th floor but I was given a room on the 6th floor and didn’t hear anything. The room is reasonable but there are no toiletries ever except for the shower. This is my 2nd time staying there. I thought it was a miscommunication last time since I booked the room last minute but no, same problem again. Last time they brought me body wash instead. This time even the front desk barely had anything. I was given a bar a soap and mouth wash. Then eventually asked if I needed toothpaste so then I was given a tooth brush and toothpaste. I don’t get it.

Nice hotel in a broadly commercial area so there are numerous chain dining options, but not much else. The hotel is under construction so the elevators are dirty and unfinished but the lobby and our room were very clean. Overall a very nice stay in a comfortable bed.
