Pool and hot tub were nice, but very crowded and so loud you can’t hear the person next to you. Our room was mostly clean when we got there. Night stand had sticky residue and food stuck on it, comforter was dirty on top, random items on the floor suggesting it hadn’t been vacuumed.

I'm upset. The fire alarm went off, waking me dead out of sleep. I thought one of the boys' tablets had gone off. Then I realized it was the fire alarm. My grandson's wouldn't wake up. And when they did, they were crying. It was scary stuff. We grabbed all our winter gear, car keys, and the room key. In the hallway, people had no clue what to do. I asked four different people what was going on, but no one knew. I decided to take the boys to the lobby. It was very crowded in there. The man behind the counter was yelling over the alarm, stating that it was set off because someone was smoking on the 3rd floor. In my mind, how did you know that? This is a huge hotel. The fire department wasn't even there yet, and the alarm was still going off. Kids were crying, and one kid was screaming at the top of her lungs. My grandson's did what I asked them. As soon as the man behind the counter said to take whatever we wanted from the store snack area, people hoarded food. It was crazy stuff. The lobby cleared out after that. I stayed and waited for the fire department. They came in. We followed them to the elevator, and I asked, "How do you know it was a smoker if you just got here and haven't investigated?" One fireman looked at me and said, "We know!" Well, okay then. I'm to believe you. Not! This was a crazy and scary experience. I found out this morning it wasn't even a smoker that set the alarms off, it's was the hotel piping. 😑
