After a short walk you can reach the sea and the sandy beach, where you can swim and enjoy nature. Furthermore, a variety of excursion possibilities await you on Lolland. For example, at Knuthenborg Safari Park you can observe the many wild animals up close from your car or visit the pretty town of Maribo and take a trip on the veteran railroad. The nature park "Maribosøerne" with its beautiful nature and rich fauna and flora is a paradise for nature lovers, who can also hear the song of the nowadays rare nightingale here. In Nakskov you can admire a lovingly restored submarine from the former Russian fleet.
