Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Welcome to the Cottage at Canefield Farm. This converted barn nestles in its own private spot, within the owner’s extensive grounds, in the pretty hamlet of Dunbridge. This single-storey retreat offers a blend of comfort and nature. With beautiful sunsets and the chance to spot deer grazing, it’s an idyllic escape.
The lounge area opens into a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Enjoy the convenience of modern appliances, including a Nespresso machine. The cottage features two well-appointed bedrooms, a large master bedroom with a super king bed and a second twin bedroom. A a large sofa bed can be made available on request.
Step outside to a large lawned garden at the front of the cottage with garden furniture perfect for al fresco dining. For sports enthusiasts, a private tennis court with full equipment provided is available. A short stroll away, you’ll find the local village inn, a dog-friendly spot serving homely fayre and drinks. Nearby, the Kimbridge Estate has an onsite tearoom, café, and gift shop, for the angling enthusiast a daily pass can be purchased to fish the trout lakes. With an abundance of walks from the doorstep, you can be as relaxed or energetic as you feel!
The location is ideal for exploring local attractions. Take a leisurely walk to the National Trust site, the beautiful Mottisfont Estate, where ancient trees, babbling brooks and rolling lawns frame the18th-century house with a medieval priory at its heart.
