No greeting from the staff at check in. They seemed more bothered than friendly.
I reserved three rooms for my group of 10. One of the room’s keys didn’t work, so my husband went back down to let them know. They gave him new keys which still did not work. The third time they gave us a new room, at the other end of the hall from our group, with one king sized bed instead of two beds. Two of my people had to sleep on the sofa beds, which was what I was trying to avoid by booking three rooms. No offer from the staff to make up for it, just this is what you get. Not even an apology.
The light fixtures by the elevator were filled with dead bugs that you could obviously see. The pool looked like an active crime scene. There was a broken window, and a white tent with yellow caution tape around it, hence the crime scene feel.
And last but not least, the breakfast! I appreciate a hotel that offers a hot breakfast, not just pastries and fruit. That was one of the selling points that made me book this place. The breakfast was just bad. The waffles were good but the eggs were green. Maybe it was still okay to eat but nobody in my group wanted to chance it. The gravy was just white water. The sausage links were all anybody would eat besides the three of us that had waffles. We ended up just checking out and going to eat somewhere else.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
