The Space:

Welcome to The Old Stables, a historic gem transformed into a bright and modern retreat. This detached, stone-built cottage offers a warm, homely feel and sleeps 5 across three inviting bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 single). The open-plan ground floor features a stylish living and dining area with a smart TV, cosy seating, and a dining table for five. The fully equipped kitchen boasts a modern finish, complete with an oven, hob, fridge freezer, and everything needed for home cooking.



Step outside to the private courtyard, a charming sun trap with traditional stone walls, outdoor seating, and a dining area perfect for alfresco meals. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms and a family bathroom with an over-bath shower. Thoughtful touches like board games enhance the cosy, family-friendly vibe. Located just 100 meters from Ruthin’s lively high street, it’s an ideal base for exploring North Wales while enjoying modern comforts in a historic setting.

Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including a private courtyard for peaceful morning coffee, off-road parking, and the cozy interior spaces. The open-plan living area features comfy sofas, perfect for movie nights, while the kitchen has everything you need for delicious home-cooked meals. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and the upstairs offers two double bedrooms and a single, all serviced by a modern bathroom with a choice of bath or shower.



The Neighborhood:

The Old Stables is well located, with a park just a stones throw away and the infamous Ruthin Jail just around the corner. There is a Costa Coffee shop at the top of Ruthin Town.



Snowdonia and all it’s famous attractions include, Mount Snowdon, Longest Zip Wire in Europe - Zipworld, Bounce Below, Surf Snowdonia - Europe’s first and only man made surf lagoon and many more sights to explore. The Coast of North Wales is one of the most stunning and areas of natural beauty in the UK.



Getting Around:

You will be able to park your car in the Cae Ddol Park car park with a permit which needs to be on view in your car. The permit will be in the property for you to use in the car park as well as all over the Denbighshire County Council car parks. NB. Parking permit can only be used in Long Stay Car Parks in Denbighshire. Snowdonia is an hour's drive and a fantastic little day out, if you're feeling ambitious, you could walk up Snowdon.



Other Things to Note:

Parking is provided via a permit for the local car park. Free on-street parking is available for loading and unloading only.



EV charger within 50 metres of property at local car park which you have a permit for.



The Old Stables is pet-friendly upon approval and boasts a fantastic location for exploring local attractions.
