Welcome to Casa del Drea. Imagine a property that has it all. If you're looking for a nice relaxing and romantic property or a family and friends retreat this is the home. Unique setting with custom painted walls and cozy decor. Full-service kitchen with two sliders that open to the outside to bring the two spaces together. Full coffee bar with separate seating area. Living area with TV, wifi and a sliding glass door that leads to the sunroom that is equipped with chairs and side table. Washer and dryer. Fenced yard. Private entry room with additional door. SAFETY NOTE: there are 2 short steps from the main area to the primary bedroom and less than an inch transition from the kitchen hardwood to the concrete main area. Shower is also elevated in the bathroom with a step up into the shower. Please familiarize yourself with these areas and watch your step! Tankless water heater to provide all the hot water needed. 10 minutes to San Isabel Lake, 20 to Bishops Castle and 45 to Westcliffe.

This is a nice location with plenty of activities to amuse us. We fished in the morning, hiked, and did some sightseeing. Deer were everywhere! Our cabin was roomy, clean and very pleasant. Our host put out a lovely coffee bar, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was like visiting a friend. The one negative is small - the shower is small. I didn’t care but if you are a large person it might be a squeeze. The king sized bed was comfortable; the room had tons of space to put our things. The bunkroom was charming! We plan on taking the Grands next trip!

Host was terrific/responsive. Everything about the home (and area), with one exception, was Wonderful, such that we'd really like to make our visit an annual event! However, the flooring was a patchwork of wood, concrete, nice! area rugs, and a 2 mini-step into bedroom. So after tripping, we realized we needed to move slow. The non-standard 2- 4 inch steps into bedroom needed strong demarcation and disclosure in VRBO description; my spouse and dog tripped and I fell twice (thankfully no broken bones). I'm confident the host will rectify this because they clearly love their home and property, with all its coziness and well-thought amenities!!

The house and property were absolutely adorable and in excellent working order. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and the location made it easy to come and go. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy getaway!The only downside was a very watchful neighbor. We noticed her frequently standing in her kitchen, watching us whenever we were outside, which made things a bit uncomfortable. One evening, we accidentally turned off a floodlight on the far side of the house (there was no note or label saying to leave it on), and when we returned late that night, she stopped us to say she’d been waiting for us to come back so she could ask us to turn it on again. Aside from that, everything about the property itself was wonderful.

Our stay at the house was as fun as it was relaxing. The accommodations were very pleasant, the coffee bar was well stocked (I especially liked the coffee recipe book on hand), and the beds were very comfortable.This was a great place to visit with my family.

A cute, cozy house within minutes of so many adventures. This was our first booking outside of staying in hotels and it was a perfect start! This house was clean and had everything we needed although we packed most everything. Communication was clear and we had no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend this location!

This place was very cute and super clean. The master bed mattress was wonderful. The master was so quiet all night, so much better than a hotel room. I was even welcomed to the property by a young local who was kind enough to stay for a picture.

We weren't sure how to get all the mini split air conditioners to work and their was an issue with the drain, but there was a nice gentleman who came and fixed these as soon as we communicated the issue. The home is very cute and inviting and in a great location.

Nicer than I expected…

They’ve taken an older place and made it really nice. The location isn’t scenic … it sits along the street in town. However, it does have a great fenced courtyard that is really enjoyable. Everything else about the place was significantly better than the average VRBO, particularly those in less touristy areas. We enjoyed our time. It was particularly clean for the “dusty” west. Keep that up … it’s a difference maker.

Very nice house

This little vacation home was excellent. It was very clean and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable open format. It really felt quite spacious. A lot of nice little touches, like the coffee/cocoa bar had Torani syrups and locally made ceramic mugs. Each bunk bed had it's own theme and stuffies to snuggle with. A few different sitting areas, each with very comfortable chairs. The beds were comfortable. The double set of french doors in the front open up accordian style, which opened up the whole front of the house -- very nice for a refreshing morning breeze. We were visited in the morning by a buck snacking on the apple tree. Don't let the plainness of the exterior fool you -- this is a beautiful place. I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this place earned 5 stars from me!

Great place to stay!

We travel to Rye a couple of times per year to visit family and since there’s no room for us with family we need a place close by to stay. This met all of our needs. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has a fenced yard for our little dogs. It’s close to our family but there’s also plenty to do and see while you’re there. We drove to Westcliiffe and saw the beautiful fourteeners mountain range and ate lunch at Chappy’s Bar and Grill. We highly recommend it for the beautiful scenery and good food! Also, you can stop at St. Isabel and Bishops Castle along the way. You won’t be sorry you chose to stay at this lovely little house!
