My wife and I stayed a week, and found the staff and service to be excellent. Everyone was courteous and very professional. The daily breakfast offered plenty of choices, and there was always coffee available in the lobby. It’s a family-run hotel, and you really get the feeling that they care.

Not the first room. It had an awful smell and was visibly dirty on the floor in living area. We asked for a different room which was much better. We were told we could not keep our dogs there. However, I booked this reservation on Hotels.com and it was advertised as "PETS STAY FREE"! I showed the person checking us in the reservation on the app. He spoke to the manager in another room and told us we could keep the dogs but there would be a $100 cleaning fee. We had just driven from Arizona for 13 hours and was not in the mood to negotiate. We agreed to pay the fee as we had no option to go anywhere else. It was late, after 8:30pm! Our dogs are very well trained to behave, and our stay was uneventful. It was unfortunate that we were in this situation since we searched the app for only hotels that allowed pets.

I did a reservation for a king size bed, when I go to my room it was with two regular size beds, i call front desk, and she didn't gave me any specific answer why. Besides that was dust everywhere on the 3rd floor due to renovations. Bad experience overall. Shouldn't stay here ever again, and wouldn't recommended.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We felt safe in this location. The staff was always welcoming and friendly. The breakfast bar was great! I typically have low expectations of hotel breakfast bars, but this one had both good variety and good quality items. Our room faced the highway, but there was good noise insulation from the outside. The only thing that could be improved is the noise insulation on the inside of the hotel. We could easily hear other guests coming and going from their rooms, talking as they walked down the hallway. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am visiting family in Sac.
