The dining area was the cleanest area in the whole building I went to the front lobby complained about the smell in the room the person gave us another room, but acted mad cause we told him, the second room we were having issues opening the door with the key card, so we had to have the key card re-done, No room service, we had to call to get more clean towels. People in the pool area was parting all night long, yelling and screaming. building and rooms needs updated. Looks like a very high crime area. Howard Johnson by Wyndom is usually nice, but this hotel was about a two-star hotel.

The cleanliness. All amenties were out of reach or everything was inconvinient to access. The showers were filthy with hair and cords hanging everywhere. Which were dangerous

Comfortable bed, convenient location. I checked in online as recommended but when I arrived I had to go through all the checking procedures again. It was a waste of time. Coffee maker in room did not work well with coffee basket not fitting and falling out. Front door needs work to close better and eliminate side space.

The room was ok, but both the coffee pot and over head lights were broken. Light got fixed but not coffee pot. It's in a bad area of town. Unfortunately the local government doesnt clean up the homeless and drug trade around there. Women and men cronics everywhere. Used to be a great river bike ride!

We had students visiting San Diego to do their clinical rotations at Sutter. We fully paid a couple of hours before checking in. I've done this many times. I requested an authorization form so we didn't have issues with the students checkung in. I called prior to booking to reuqest this to ensure a smooth check-in. I was told i didn't need one, the room was fully paid for for 2 days. Our student checked in, they turned him away for not having that CC with him. The same man blatantly misrepresented what was needed. Our student was left to sleep outside in his car. They then refused a refund for that night and the following day even though check-in wasnt until 3pm and this was early in the morning. Dishonest and blatantly fraudulent actions.

Average, we had issue on the first room. Curtain didn’t cover the whole front window. People passing by could see in. Exchange room was better. Rooms smelled dirty, had to fabreeze the room.

I called to verify the hot tub worked prior to booking and was told it did. It did not. The water was not that hot and the jets were broken. To me broken jets mean broken hot tub regardless of water temp but maybe the person I spoke with feels differently. The room was on the cooler side and the when trying to turn on the heat it would not work. I had to call for them to fix the TV as it wouldn't turn on and there were missing lightbulbs. The room was quiet but so many little things were wrong that I wouldn't stay there again.

I would only use this hotel for a last resort option. Only thing they got going for them is they offer breakfast otherwise you’ll be better off staying at motel 6 for a better experience.

The staff were great and helpful but the location a bit sketchy...seemingly harmless homeless folks and random people just hanging around the area kind of made me nervous...when I had to buy water at the gas station nearby people were asking for change. Early morning there was plenty of lighting in the parking lot when I had to go to the airport while still dark. The room was clean.
