An experience to remember!

It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. We slept like babies and woke up to the smell of breakfast. The dining room was prepared as if the chateau were full. We enjoyed our a sumptuous “petit dejeuner” at a beautiful table with the morning light flooding in. To work off the hearty breakfast, my wife and I explored the meticulously kept garden and grounds. It was here that we experienced the most personalized and courteous service during our 2-week stay in France. It was so good for the soul, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful property and a wonderful host

The Chateau is a beautiful property in lovely grounds, and we had a wonderful stay at the hotel with our pet dog. Our host for the stay was incredibly attentive and quickly resolved our small problem with lack of hot water when we arrived. She also gave us a quick tour of the property before we left and it is certainly worth taking a look around. The restaurant recommendation (Auberge Saint Jacques) was also perfect, and we had a lovely meal. A wonderful short stay.

Elegance and seclusion

Lovely two day stay out of season. Great staff and we were given a luxury suite for the same price as the club room we had reserved. Very quiet location and beautiful grounds. Hotel does lovely continental style breakfast. Doesn't do dinner but nice places to eat at a short driving distance and Rouen is only 20mins in the car.

AUTHENTIQUE ET CALME

TrĂšs bel endroit Ă  quelques minutes de Rouen. DĂ©paysement total et calme de la campagne normande. ChĂąteau dans un domaine verdoyant avec restauration impeccable. Belle chambre ( Luxe ). Accueil super avec visite et explication. Petit - DĂ©jeuner continental correct. Je donnerais volontiers cette adresse. Merci Ă  la gentillesse du personnel du ChĂąteau aux petits soin pour les clients

En opplevelse!

Hotellet, et slott fra 1800-tallet ligger ca 20 min kjÞretur fra Rouen, sÄ en bÞr disponere bil. Stedet er flott pusset opp og rommene er meget bra, med en sÊregen stil. Servicen er upÄklagelig. Vi ble tatt i mot av en meget hyggelig dame som virkelig var "vertskap"! Stedet ligger i et jordbruksomrÄde med en flott park rundt slottet. Vi kom en juli ettermiddag i strÄlende sol og varme. Vi avlyste kveldens planlagte middag i Rouen, og tok piknik i parken i stedet! God frokost, ikke overdÄdig, men med et helt OK utvalg. Og igjen; strÄlende service i forbindelse med frokosten! Vi hadde et trippelrom, men tredjemann bÞr ikke vÊre over 1,78 .... Ellers meget gode senger. Rommet var rent og innbydende pÄ alle mÄter. Dette steder anbefaler vi gjerne!! Men sjekk godt opp hvor det ligger. Bruk gjerne koordinatene som ligger pÄ stedets hjemmeside. Ellers kan det bli litt ekstra kjÞring for Ä finne fram!
